Not sure wtf you’re talking about Frank isn’t a PG at the NBA level he can’t even penetrate he’s a tertiary ball handler and he’s a willing passer/passive player not a good passer he’s not making any next level reads he’s not a PG he has a poor assist % to turnover %. He’s never really been a PG. In Europe he was a fast break outlet passer and would always pass the ball and hide in the corners once he brought it past half court.

Quickley and Ntilikina could be a cool pairing but I rather move on from the bust altogether and try to salvage another second round pick

I put up a short Myles Powell profile with KFTV for those that are unfamiliar with the kid (if you're a Red Storm fan, you probably remember him). My general take on second rounders and UDFAs is to go either with home run prospects or swing on highly productive college players that the league has doubts about. Powell is undersized but he's worth the shot because the kid's a threat pull-up from anywhere and his sophomore and junior years (healthier runs) showed that he can be efficient while bombing it.

I hope he gets a shot and has a Trier like resurgence but can actually defend

I won't front, this kid's defense is a concern like Trier's was and his ball handling is lacking. But this dude was the first and second option for Seton Hall as well as the bailout guy. Hopefully the developmental crew can get him sharp in those weak points.

Yeah, he’s an underrated passer.

In that screening video it appears the shot clock is going down and he’s setting a slip screen and trying to pop for 3 but being ignored. From what I’ve seen he’s a good screener not as bad as Mitch whose a terrible screener.

Also, the post defense highlights he allowed 33% on post ups and teams rarely post up nowadays, what we saw there are lapses that happen to everyone from time to time. I wouldn’t look too deep into that he does need to work on his P&R and P&P defense, it’s a big issue.

Bryant's had some guys improve nicely as offensive ball handlers. Those dudes came in ahead of where a Powell would be though so it's hard to project. The Knicks added more gymrats though, so I'm hoping having all these dudes that stay in the training facility translates to everyone helping each other grow.

Quickley/Frank could work great if Frank keeps up the aggression we saw at the tail end of the season. They'd be a tough defensive combo and Quickley spaces the floor. You DEF want the SF to have some ball handling chops though. RJ makes sense, Knox not so much. If Frank's not about that aggressive play though, Austin Rivers can work there.

I keep thinking about how many undersized combo guards the Knicks targeted and thinking that had to be done with purpose in mind.
