Yea, his dribble penetration is what intrigued me. But i never really liked him as a player. It’s also assuming it’s for Marcus Morris and filler too. But anyway, I’m planting my flag a little early since we haven’t gotten a chance to see Cole Anthony or whatever other PG emerges out the college ranks this season, but i really like RJ Hampton...

Knickas is really delusional outchea :mjlol:

Yo Frank balled the fukk out :troll: :laff::camby:
I'm not saying he did or didn't. I'm saying stop because homeboy dedicated a full essay to a guy he says didn't play bad and didn't play great. In a game where he and almost every player on the bench had a better +/- than the starters... Most of whom got the most/key minutes in a loss

We’re 3 seasons in and he hasn’t developed one offensive skill yet.

how much longer do you nikkas plan to coddle him?
:comeon:

When he's getting yanked for making mistakes while nikkas get 30+ minutes completely fukk up the ball movement AND can't even be called a average defender...I don't consider that coddling.

We had Elfrid AND DSJ (who are not plus defenders at all) get minutes this season while performing VERY similarly or worse than Frank's game in Orlando. Nobody wants to coddle Frank, we just want what was promised...a fair tryout at the pg position and for the best one to get the minutes. In preseason that was Frank and in the regular season we can make the argument that it's still Frank

Edit: also, Frank has developed a better dribble and a better post up game.

not worried about RJ & Knox. we should give out free daps and reps when either one of them score 30 for the first time...

:blessed:

that was my initial thought too but i think Frank would be better off as a 6th man. he’s not a pure 1, 2, or 3 but because of his physicality, he can do a little bit of each. I’d rather he come off the bench (along with Randle).
The problem is we don't have a starting point guard. I would love Frank to start at point on THIS team, build his confidence as a rotation point guard, and then for us to find a serviceable point guard to be our starter of the future. I was hoping DSJ would take the leap but...

frank woulda been a solid pg in the 90s
its probably why phil drafted him. he's still living there.

todays league is too fast paced and dynamic for this kid. how u go an entire game and not drive once:dead:

He drove a few times against Chicago... It's not ability... He's too unselfish. The only reason he worked on his dribble and became more aggressive is because he realized it would help open up the offense for his teammates. I would love it if Fiz gave him the same rope he gives his offensive oriented players and just yelled at him during a timeout when he fukks up. Then maybe he could develop quicker.

He's still a backup point guard but he can be a damn good one if we develop him

Dennis has plenty potiential to be a plus defender and if anything he’s good enough defensively to hold his own now if he’s HEALTHY. (See: Forbes article about his defense while he was a Mav Dennis Smith Jr.'s Defensive Effort Is Fueling The Mavericks' Hot Streak )

He also possesses the ability to not be completely useless on offense, which Frank is. And how did his dribble game get better if he can’t get by anyone or get to the paint off a screen still? And did you really just say a post up game from this soft French neega? :dead:.

It’s all good though. We’ll never get that eighth pick back and I’m starting to deal and heal with that :mjcry:

im just curious
what is your ideal statline for frank?
cause u be gettin wet off his 7 3 3 performances
I will take his 0, 2, 2 and 3 turnover performance over a Julius Randle 17, 10 and 7 performance from last night every time. I don't stat watch and I don't have some delusions that because Frank was drafted 8th that he HAS to be a starting point guard. He's our point guard and he has game that would be beneficial to any winning team. He needs to develop still but from what I've seen he's still our best point guard from a cohesion standpoint.
