I agree with both you brehs but I still think we have enough games . Atleast more than lasts season. Brehs in here are calling out the blaring issues we have on the floor. Spacing issues, free throw shooting, too much shooting from Portis and Randle( they need to be reigned in). Subbing people in at the wrong time.
A lot of people in here been calling for the Mitch/Morris/Knox/Barrett/frank lineup forever

why isn’t taj getting more minutes? We need an interior defender when Mitch sits why not put him in?
the thing is, we are 1-6, so nothing is really working. even da game we won we shoulda lost. so i cant blame fizz for experimenting with different line ups. mills and perry gave a fukked up roster 2 years in a row and told him to.figure it out.

Randle is not getting traded this year, you can stop saying that. The team option is for the 3rd yr and no team is taking on his contract this season. Now next yr, I can see a team trading for him.

Morris is definitely gone by trade deadline, I can see him fitting in perfectly with the bucks. He would be a great addition to their bench. I believe the bucks have 2 first rounders this season. Their own and the pacers for the brogdon sign/trade. Perhaps they can give us one, hopefully the pacers one.

Man...this team would be so much better off if Perry and Mills just ate some bad contracts like Iguodala's and collected some additional assets. The kids would still be struggling, but at least they'd be front and center and we'd have a bunch of assets to build with. Right now it's just a countdown to December when FA signings can be traded and I don't have enough faith that Perry/Mills will make the right decisions on who to move on from...We'll see though. This team needs continuity badly, but the players that actually need the continuity are trapped behind vets we overpaid. Zo should be getting at least a few minutes to see if he's feeling it but he was benched. Mitch followed his best early game by being moved to the bench specifically to get one of those overpaid vets going. The rotation finally looked promising for one damned game...but Randle didn't so we have to keep tinkering :snoop:

I think Pills and Fizdale desperately want Randle to become their D'angelo Russell story...yuck.

This was probably the expectation. They looked at the Nets model and probably thought that model was more palpable than the 76ers model. The difference is that Randle is not as talented as D'angelo, and Fizdale is not as talented as Atkinson. The unfortunate decision making will likely lead to the FO and coach being fired, and I can foresee whoever is next in line benching Randle.

Honestly, I couldn't think of a worse way to self-sabotage than this. 5 starting line-ups in 7 games, players in and out of the rotation on a whim, and the same way forcefeeding us DSJ when he wasn't good turned a Garden crowd against him; I'm seeing a huge chunk of the Knicks fanbase turn on Randle...it's not his fault...dude is a solid second option in the best circumstances and we're asking him to be the first option under far from ideal circumstances.

Randle has already cost us a few games

You’d be hard pressed to find a high usage player playing worse than he is he has been awful

"in the best case scenario" is an important part of that phrase...you can make him work as a second option in an offense built to compliment his game. But you don't want a team building their offense around a solid second option in any situation.

I hope being down 28 points to Kings and getting booed in MSG showed him that Randle/Portis combo won't 'continue to grow'

Who the fukk in their right mind sees Randle and Morris on the floor together and says let me throw Portis in there to open up the floor :gucci:

Randle often drives into multiple defenders with a rim runner like Mitch.

Portis is supposed to be a stretch big coming off a 39% 3PT season. That would open up the floor for Randle. Or at least that’s the idea Randle insists on barreling into traffic regardless teams are collapsing on him regardless because of that. Fiz isn’t an idiot there’s a reason he’s doing it. Portis hasn’t been hitting this year outside of that Bulls game and Randle’s I.Q. is shyt anyway which is why it isn’t working at all. Fiz is trying to trade some defense for better floor spacing to start games.
