Realistic things we need to hope for this season:

Frank has a lot more games like he had tonight
Knox continues to develop on both ends of the court
RJ becomes at worst an average free throw shooter
Randle gets traded for players with some modicum of a basketball iq but low skills and $$ (ok this one might not be realistic)
Dotson gets more playing time

If 4 out of the 5 happen, I think we can expect better results

He''s the definition of good stats bad team guy. He just doesn't play a winning style of basketball. One of those guys where the end of the game his counting stats look great but if you watch the game he had multiple missed rotations, out of position, killed ball movement or plays being ran to iso.

I didn't necessarily hate the Randle acquisition (he's overpaid though). It's that y'all doubled and tripled and quadrupled down at the position. I figured Randle could put up good enough stats to where a PF hungry team would look at his numbers and toss you a first and an expiring. Portland, for example in theory would make sense.

This is basically Knicks Z-Bo all over again.

Bright side: RJ still good. Frank showing improvement on offense and playing great defense. Knox efficiently in double-digits again. This draft class looks incredibly promising to add someone to the young promising guys.

Down side: Soon as Mitch left the defense collapsed. Tony Snell 9/9 and 24 points...that's not a "they're more talented" player fam...that's Tony Snell smfh. Team folded mentally after the flagrant foul. Randle found his scoring, misplaced his playmaking and any defensive IQ he'd shown flashes of. Morris is on Rasheed Wallace pace with the Techs. Ellington is hit right now. Bobby Portis may be starting on KP for his first match-up with the old team.
