He has but not enough
For example look at Knox.
He's playing this year but is playing a lot less minutes due to Morris
Why bring in vets when the Knicks will suck either way?
Just develop the young guys
i was against bringing in all da players we brought in. but knox has clearly improved, even with the reduced minutes

Just ask yourself this question, "is Randle ever going to work as hard on both ends of the court as Frank did last night?"

I honestly don’t know yet, I’ve only really seen him play these 9 games. Again, I am frustrated by his ball handling and inability to get the other players involved, but I have seen some signs that he can be a great passer, and we obviously know he has some serious skills around the basket...so let’s see if he evolves his game over time.

Also, he’s not going anywhere anytime soon, so what choice do we all have but to wait and see.

he has played lol
and his issues are mostly mental.
glad hes starting to make progress
Come on breh. You were there when we were complaining about the quick hooks Frank was getting, and the minute distribution when offense-only players were allowed to brick shots while Frank rotted on the bench. Yeah, he got minutes last year, his sophomore year, but I wouldn't call them consistent minutes.

He can be a great passer...but that was already known. So are the skills around the basket. Another thing that we know is the ability to be great on the pick and roll. That wasn't visible in these past 9 games....but we know this because we have 5 years of footage to obtain this information.

Let's put it how @seemorecizzy did about Frank's skills earlier this year "He's in his 6th year..." his skills are what they are.

he hasnt been given the rope hes been given now.
very few point guards have. but he has been given opportunies over da last 3 years to prove himself and i dont think he made da most of it.

and i dont think its a lack of talent, i just think mentally he was shook and hesistant. even this season (not last night) i can still see himsecond guessin himself instead of just playin his game. if theres one thing i cant stand personally, its a scared player lol.

i really think we need to give fizz a ton of credit for gettin at him over and over again about being aggressive and for tellin him to throw it up there even if it misses.

lets see if he can sustain this type of play., 12 points 6 assist, some steals and some rebounds is a great start:yeshrug:

Son play the game of his career and nikkas go crazy on some I told you shyt :dead:

Frank has clearly improved physically and mechanically. He is now starting to show a confidence out there. He’s 21 now. It’s time.

The years prior to this he was given chances and couldn’t seize the opportunity because he was shook and raw. It’s only right that he’s having games like this in his third NBA season.

We've seen what Fiz does for a player if he thinks it's all mental. He rarely short hooks and DNPs them because he knows that the best way to instill confidence in a player is to show them you believe in them. He didn't show Frank that.

I agree with you that he deserves credit for pushing Frank to be more aggressive... He just should've done it without sinking his confidence further. No reason a player you inherited who's biggest issue in his second year is his confidence and he has A WORSE year than the only other year he's played in his career. Can't accuse Fiz of giving him too much rope... He gave him just enough to hang himself before Fiz yanked him.

We're seeing what we're seeing now because Fiz has no choice but to play him. If Elfrid and Dennis were still playing, Frank would probably still be rotting on the bench. Seeing what you've seen so far, you think that would've been the right move?

franks was terrible last year and thats on him:yeshrug:

and even this season, he was third on da point guard rotation and deservingly so:yeshrug:

again, blame management. not the coach.they keep bringing in players to play the point guard position.

but as a nba player, its your job to make da most of da playing time you are given and frank hasnt done that. lets hope he can keep it up.

Gloating is not a good look for Frank supporters. They should be more relieved than anything, especially considering he is still the last point guard you would take in the division.

But I’m rooting for the guy, I respect good defense.

See you all on December 20th

frank would be playin regardless. he got mins over both just da other day lol

the front office just signed elfrid to a contract.
they traded KP for dennis smith.
they have relatively new investments in these guys.

its unrealistic for you to think that the coach isnt gonna play them
its gonna be interesting to see what happens when everyone comes back

I'm gonna try to stop now. I realize I'm arguing with cats who will watch a game and think a guy with an empty boxscore has no effect on the game. Some players are more than the stats they give you. Frank has BEEN one of those guys
frank is that, but for da last time it isnt enough lol
how he played yesterday is how u have to bring it on a regular basis. stuff that doesnt appear on da box score should be a addition, not da end all be all.

Couldn't do it.

You think Frank deserved to be third in the point guard rotation after the preseason the 3 of them had? :stopitslime:

Frank was terrible. I'm just making the point that there was a reason he stayed terrible
