Here I thought (foolishly) we was turning it around after the Phil fiasco. Black Excellence front office, supposedly got our names in FAs mouths.... Now fast forward we a laughingstock again... Turn on any sports talk station, especially NBA radio, and it seems like everyone is

at us.... I'm tired of it, fam.... It's gotta stop with the top. I know Dolan ain't selling any time soon, but Mills has got to go. Only good thing he did was report Phil's incompetence to Dolan, but he ain't doing no better. Dolan will probably have to come up off a major bag and a percentage of the franchise to even get Ujiri to return his phone call, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

I just dont see Ujiri leaving Toronto. They still have a good thing going with Siakam improving more this year

I feel like they turning point for Pills and Merry was when Kyrie and the snake signed with the Nets. They panicked and made miscalculated decisions. I think they thought it wouldnt be a big deal since they were short term deals. But its still hindering the development of our youth. It makes no sense to make a half ass effort at a playoff run

To be fair to them Dennis Smith Jr's poor start i believe is being overlooked as a factor in our poor start. Many of us were expecting him to make a jump this year but unfortunately hes had his worst stretch of his career

Even considering that Fizdale is still doing a poor job of coaching this group of misfits and is an enabler for Randle to play at his very worst. The value of the players we signed has already decreased

We should have just re-signed Kornet, Melo, and low key Tyson Chandler. He would have been great for Mitch and still makes an impact when he plays. It would have been good publicity to give Melo a farewell tour and i think he would have been fine with coming off the bench. He was a leader with his work ethic and how well he handled the media despite all the losing we did his last few years with us

Pills Perried and Fiztales all gotta go :camby:

we should have signed lesser vets like Aminu to go along with Taj and Ellington... guys who know they’re not here to start or “be stars”.

Exactly, with this route they could at least blame lack of success on youth and growing pains.

The approach the FO did take just seems like more of Mills; for as long as he's been there the goal has always been to pursue individual talent at all cost, especially at the cost of team and fit. Since he couldn't land 1 or 2 actual stars he figured they'd just load up on serviceable talent, but again disregarding how they fit together...just has Mills and Dolan's approach all over it, unfortunately Fiz & Perry co-signed it.

And I think Fiz has been forced to play these signings because of mills fukk ups. How do you explain giving the bulk of the minutes to people that just got here? It like theirs no incentive to progress in this organization because they’ll eventually bring someone in to take all your minutes.

I still think the biggest whiff was not talking to the Bucks when they were trying to give away Snell and Ilyasova. I'd have taken Ilyasova with a first round pick and ran (wouldn't have been upset if they forced us to grab Snell either since the first is what matters but Irsan is a spacing big we coulda used). Same with the Grizzlies landing Iguodala.

Just imagine not needing Portis and instead getting a first round pick to have a better floor spacer.

knicks don't make trades unless a player demands one.

Great article from Windhorst about all the hypocrisy and inconsistencies from this FO in the past 2 years.

Blazers have been hyping up Simons since last year. They have been releasing 'leaks' to reporters hyping him up either to up his trade value or because they actually love him.

Randle is shooting 42/21/63 combined with bad defense and 4 turnovers. Portis is shooting 37/30/70 with atrocious defense.

Those two would be virtually untradable if they weren't on short term contracts. They would have to catch fire to get their numbers to normal levels by the time we're allowed to trade them. Randle and Portis don't have a history of excellence that team can look at and discount the trash performances they've turned in with Knicks.

Who the fukk in their right mind is thinking "We're so close to being the 8th seed, Bobby Portis is just who we need to knock Mavs/Spurs out of that spot" :bryan:

"There's no way we can beat Rockets in game 7 of the Conference Finals ... but if we had Julius Randle" :mjtf:

So I think teams that are looking for cap relief and not contenders will be in for them. Which is will be few and far between and absolutely retarded since we could've taken on bad contracts in free agency for much better value/picks.

So instead of taking Iguodala and any other bad 2 year contracts and multiple picks, we've signed players hoping they would be good enough for us to trade them for picks :mindblown:

Take 0 birds in the bush instead of 1 in hand GM brehs :snoop:
