So now you can stop the bullshyt
What bullshyt?

My projection was based off several factors. I was being optimistic I still believe the roster has talent it's just an ill fitting squad.

Before Fizdale came here he was in Memphis. Nobody was calling him a "bad coach" he was considered one of the young coaches on the rise. In his first season in Memphis they went 43-39 and played a competitive series against the higher seeded Spurs. The second year in Memphis he was fired early for clashing with the star player Marc Gasol and the team was done anyway and won only 22 games.

Steve Kerr, Rick Carslile, Larry Brown, Gregg Popovich have already come to Fizdale's defense. And we look terrible in the eyes of everyone for the way this was handled. Fiz was dealt a bad hand period. Y'all could do all that overly critical X's and O's bullshyt and nikkas who don't even know a single play or know how to lead men gonna say he's a terrible coach but at the end of the day the league, coaches who know Fiz, who've played us know the deal.

funny how respected coaches ( some of who have worked with him and some who have not) and great players have fine things to say about his coaching ability but some ppl in here think they have more credibility lol

even the chosen leader of our team (morris) held a meeting to show support to fizz and to admit we gotta play harder.

The Knicks Twitter conglomerate knows more about basketball and X’s and O’s than Fizdale breh.

Fiz didn’t dedicate his life to coaching and wasn’t an assistant on title teams. Nikkas sit on they key board talking about Fiz is a terrible coach. :bryan:

Everything Fiz did from having Julius run the point forward, to occasionally playing zone, to having Portis start at the 5 had some type of basketball rationale to it. But cats on here think he just pulled stuff out his ass.

I honestly dont think this team is much better than their record. Maybe you can argue they shkuld have 6, 7 wins? But you're splitting hairs. This team isn't assembled in a logical way. Knowing you're going to end up witg RJ Barrett, a non shooter, why sign a non shooting 4 man in Randle as your centerpiece? Randle is a dependent player, he needs space, Barrett needs space, and you came in with Elfrid Payton as your point guard.

It's an illogical way to build a team. These signings this offseason show that the Knicks weren't focused on development, but on winning more games than last year. And this is thr tuoe of roster they choose to build, that should be concerning to any Knicks fan.

This is in response to the @JMurder post

Not really.

I expected DSJ to take a leap. I expected Randle and Portis to shoot the ball as well as they did last year. I expected Knox to be an improved defender. I expected Mitch to be bulked up and less foul prone.

None of these things happened.

Your own words by the way
Those things not happening are not on Fiz.

I’m sure Fiz also expected those things.
