Payton deserved this start however he was terrible and played incredibly bad defense and he doesn’t run the offense he only looks for Randle .
BUT based on the summer and preseason DSJ hasn’t done anything to deserve being the first guard off the bench this game ? Did he play better than frank ? The best thing Fiz did was bench them both and bring in Ellington
Fizdale is the coach he’s the one who is supposed to talk to Portis about his play , talk to randle , Payton about his defense.

No one is sAyifng that ! We are saying that Fiz is not consistent with his criticism or who he punishes !! If he treated all the players who fukk up the same but he doesn’t and it’s suspiciously players who the front office have some attachment too or who is favorite . You think of DSJ wasn’t part of the porzongis trade he’d be playing instead of on the bench figuring out his injuries/struggles?? He’s done nothing to even deserve 5 minutes yet our perimeter defense is trash and he didn’t ever try frank
Yup, Payton earned the start. He's also the most accomplished PG on the roster. Payton was bad and played 24 minutes because of it. But let y'all tell it Fiz let him run wild.

There's no "talking" to Randle, Portis, or Payton. All those guys are who they are, years deep in their career. Anyone who saw them play prior to joining the Knicks would telll you this is who they are. :mjlol:

I just want to see what the Coli X's and O's experts want and what coach is going to solve the problem of poor guard play, positional log jams, and mix matched pieces. If y'all think the job is so easy. The coach scapegoating shyt is so corny and played out.

The Knicks are the land of misfit parts, with no PG. No coach is coming here and making this a good team. They'll be picking top 5 in the draft again in June.

Despite 2 yrs of overwhelming evidence...nikkas still think Frank is an NBA caliber player.

He does nothing as the primary ball handler.

He's not a playmaker.

Too shook to shoot.

When he does shoot, he bricks.

As soon as he got in the first game, back-to-back turnovers.

He sucks the confidence out of the offense.

No one on the team is saying anything about him beasting in practice.

Nobody on the team is stepping up in his defense.

Nobody on his own team believes in him.

He is garbage.

But the defense is great...:mjlol:

Nikka please, his defense isn't that great. He don't have the heart for this shyt. Cut him now.
By the metrics he's literally been one of the worst players in basketball since his debut. The guy is a net minus player when he is on the floor but let Coli Knicks fans tell it lol. He just isn't fukking good and should have been in the G-League.

It's guards with similar physical profile and same age range as him like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Dejounte Murray, and Lonzo Ball who are way better than him. :snoop:

I could be wrong but wasn’t phil close to trading KP for devin booker and the 4th pick in the 2017 draft?

What other rumors were there for KP trade package?

Don’t neg me, but maybe Phil knew what he was doing and perry/mills fukked us over
The only rumor was boston for the 3rd pick and ainge was working to get the 7th from the wolves because phil loved lauri. Could have had Tatum and Lauri

I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen from the Knicks these last two games, despite not having a half-way decent point guard.

The Nets game, the Knicks beat themselves in the final 1:30 with two turnovers (turnovers that weren’t even caused by defense but by inexperience- Randall thought he was Kyrie with the shake and bake spin).

I like their scrappiness and they lost two games to teams which had a bunch of seasoned Vets.

I hope the organization doesn’t panic and allows time for these guys to grow. They shouldn’t be blamed for the past 20 years of failure, that didn’t happen on their watch.

They need to fail before they succeed, it’s part of development.
