Derozan and Jimmy Butler? I dont see it. I feel like a poor mans Paul Pierce is still the best comparison :hubie:
it's hard to see his ceiling in this RJ in the corner offense with poor spacing

the vets freeze him out

we won't be able to make accurate statements about his ceiling until

1) the offense runs through him
2) he is surrounded with shooters
3) he finishes growing into his body

I know he’s gonna work his ass off this summer so I’m excited to see what he looks like next season.

BRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKLLLLLYYYYYNNNN
Mitch could also use a consistent mid range shot to keep defenses honest
Knox should study rashad Lewis
His length and size reminds me of him
Knox needs to study Dirk to be honest. Mitch needs to study Hakeem. He has the length of guys
like Ingram, Kuzma and KD. He could be more effective of working on 1, 2 step fadeways inside the arc and running to the outside for the 3. His dribbling will get better with time.

When the spacing is poor, him and Knox needs to drive to the hole, pause, especially if no one is passing to them on the perimeter. Let Mitch catch rebounds and follow through on misses and pass the ball out to Randle because Randle is more turnover prone at driving while RJ and Knox are better at committing and1s.

I wonder who he will workout with
He better make Nash his shooting coach

the problem will remain vets like morris, randle, payton, etc.
i've noticed they only look for each other as the 1st options
then they look for guys like Knox, RJ, etc. when they get their shots
this cannot continue into next season
this is when me being a general nba fan and not a fan of a single team pays off
I wouldn't watch the Knicks if certain players weren't on the team (you think I'm watching a Randle lead team again next year?)
randle is most likely not going anywhere and that is a problem :francis:

They need to start encouraging Mitch to take that 15-18 ft Jumpshot when teams are super sagging off him. Turn him into more then just a rim runner.

He has the touch and mechanics for it already down.

RJ is going to be the Truth. Work on his handle and the obvious stuff like improving his shooting. He doesn’t even have his grown man body yet and I see him bodying dudes.

I always felt Knox ceiling was similar to Tobias Harris. I wouldn’t even mind that. We just gotta be patient with him. He’s going to be good. You can see the potential in his game.

I’m not up on any of the young boys in this upcoming draft. I gotta start doing my due diligence on them.

I don’t even know what’s our biggest need. I guess PG. I’m a Frank Stan. So we’ll see how the season plays out. Anthony Edwards did look beastly the one game I saw him play.

I don’t even know where we even stand exactly. I like our young pieces, but we’ll never attract a big name FA until we make a playoff run without one. This offseason is really going to dictate the 1st half of the decade.

Perry has been average as a GM. But damn we need some freaking stability. That’s one of our biggest problem.
