Man, no bullshyt, I’m really happy for the grizzlies. I’m hella jealous of their rebuild but I’m happy as fukk for them. Hopefully they miss the playoff and win the lottery.
:dead:
Watch them get Edwards to pair w/ Ja
Ja/Edwards/Brooks/JJ/JV

Notice
1) Their lineup has a combo of rookies, young players, and vets this season?
2) They run the offense through their two corner stones, Ja and JJ, not vets like
Crowder and JV :mjlol:
3) They don't pull the young guys when they make mistakes which gives
them confidence because they know their coaching staff believes in them
and are not fighting for their jobs

It's only going to get worse :russ:

They’ll probably start Clarke but yea. That team would be disgusting.

"There’s real value in being able to check a lot of boxes. This season, there are 21 players averaging at least 14 points, five boards, two dimes, one steal and four free throw attempts per game. 20 of them have either made an All-Star team or are a good bet to make their first one this season. RJ Barrett is the 21st.

According to BasketballReference.com, there are four teenage rookies in NBA history to hit those statistical benchmarks: LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Luka Doncic, and right now, RJ. For all of the woes about Barrett’s shooting, his .439 effective field goal percentage is a smidgen higher than LeBron’s .438, and within earshot of Melo’s .449 (he’s also playing fewer minutes than any of those guys did as rookies, for all the hand-wringers out there)."

Knicks Film School

It's a great read on RJ

Before everyone says "omg are you comparing RJ to Lebron, Luka, etc." no that's not what I'm doing :mjlol:

I'm saying RJ has a lot of potential, these benchmarks bode well for his future, and the Knicks have done him a disservice by not giving him the keys from day 1
Instead, the Knicks are stuck with Dubious Handles and his vet squad :stopitslime:

From the eye test I think he has superstar potential but not everyone agrees
He'll be an all star at least
