Yeah 2 straight bonehead turnovers in your 1st 60 seconds of play will do that to you. The fact that Fiz played him 2 more minutes in a game we had momentum in til Frank checked in should tell you he tried to give him some rope.

I know Frank fans don't think he should be hidden on offense. Frank fans are delusional. I'm not a Payton fan either but there is nothing Frank does better than him offensively. Confidence comes from within. Playing this kid more than he deserves will not build his confidence. Fiz has a job he's trying to keep too. Frank will gain confidence when he starts producing in practice and in games. As long as Frank continues to think Frank sucks, there's nothing Fizdale can do for him.

It's delusional to think Frank doesn't need to be hidden on offense but it's not delusional to think that 3 minutes is enough rope to give a young player in the first game of the season... Because of 2 turnovers...



I'm just gonna make a few points and keep it pushing. Elfrid is a poor and unwilling 3 point shooter. Frank showed the potential to at least be average from 3 before everything went wrong. I think with his defense and a decent 3 point shot, he definitely should get minutes. And even if you don't believe in his potential offensively, you can believe that he was the best point guard in the preseason. That is not arguable. I don't think it's arguable that he should be getting minutes ahead of Dennis right now until Dennis shows he's got his game back. Dennis has shown nothing since preseason yet has played in all 3 games. I don't think anything I've said in this post is delusional and are all key points to why he should at least have longer than a 3 minute rope
