Drummond and Schroder are not the names I'm tryna hear at this deadline. We have Mitch and they'll be in position to draft a damned good PG prospect regardless of where they fall because of how deep the position is and how bad the Knicks are. They should be cutting into the logjams by dumping vets, that's all. These dudes are really still looking at "chase the 8 seed" options if these rumors are real.

Not gonna lie Schroeder for Morris and DSJ isn't a outright bad trade for the knicks, if its for Randle even better. Dennis could be the real PG the knicks need.

They would still have stupid money to throw at say Ingram or more realistically Bogdon. Also, this draft is weird. Its a lot of PGs who may need a few seasons under their belt, plus the lottery rules are crazy so even if we are at the top we might fall to the fukking middle. If we do fall better to pick best player available than have to take whatever PG is left.

i cant think of a time where the knicks were in a worst position then this.

no upcoming free agents to look forward to,
no allstar players on the roster
no realistic trades to significantly improve the team
and outside of rj (tbd) and mayb mitch, no up and coming promising players.

this team just sucks and is stuck in no mans land.

It’s not about Dennis for me. It’s about getting Randle or Morris off the team for a guard cause they don’t belong on the floor together. If we can trade Randle for Dennis straight up I’m doing it without blinking.

As much I want it to happen, I honestly don't see us making any moves. Mainly because other teams no how much we're pretty much stuck and would look to exploit us and try and fukk us over. I rather just finish the season out tbh.
