Thank god Mills is gone. Breh was about to sell low on some of the younger players after no efforts to build them up. Despite what Mills said when he got hired about rebuilding, most of what he did was pretty short sighted, and a few of his moves were pretty fukking stupid. Now hopefully whoever gets hired focuses on player development and trading off the vets before the deadline. The Knicks have a bunch of easy to move contracts that can be used to help facilitate trades in any three team deal, and Morris will likely net us a future first round pick. Put some effort into player development for once and stack the cupboard with assets that hopefully be used in a bigger trade in the future.

Speak on it, breh.
Basically the CAA had some pretty massive sway in the organization for years; their influence helped drive Donnie Walsh out *allegedly*, they were likely the driving force behind the Bargnani trade, Chris Smith was a CAA guy and that likely got him signed, etc.The CAA was also the cause of a bunch of weird internal issues in the Knicks because apparently CAA guys got preferential treatment( I remember Woodson abruptly changing agents and hiring a CAA guy, I think his contract extension was contingent on it). The biggest thing is though, is for as long as the CAA had sway in organization, the Knicks constantly made short sighted moves and signings in the name of corporate cronyism and an apparent aversion to rebuilding for whatever reason.

The trade was basically Knox and Ntilikina for D’Angelo Russell.

They suck how is an All-Star level point guard selling low. :heh:

Bobby Portis was a shyt signing and Trier doesn’t fit the teams plans a second round pick is just whatever.

I would have supported that trade.

And also Dolan has hired many African Americans in top positions, shytty owner or not.

Is he a little to involved? Maybe. All I know is when everyone was screaming for Phil, he backed up the truck and made that happen. Same for Larry Brown.

He spends money and hires black executives. Can't be mad at that.

Is that Rich Paul’s music :lolbron:
To be fair I wouldn’t mind this because we see how the league is going it’s like the modern job market connections and networking . We need to get a name that excites people and gets us a leg up recruiting the players . We need to be able to bring in high quality FA . Also we need to find a way to build a new modern training facility somewhere in the city or the Bronx at the least

Nah I would've took that trade, that definitely isn't selling low, I meant what I said in a more general sense. Mills seemed insistent on shopping everyone other than RJ and Mitch and realistically none of those guys will bring back anything decent right now.
