Also said it’s 90% chance that Thibs is the coach.

Well yeah Thibs is CAA and as much as we are deluding ourselves that shyt maybe, could have, possibly changed a little. Dolan the dumbass just went back to the system he had in place before Phil came. Which in hindsight, Phil was the best GM we’ve had since fukking Grunwald in the 90’s and that motherfukker was flawed as hell as a GM......

we should get ahead of the wave and see what players are CAA stars in need of Max contracts, cause we’re going to trade everyone not signed to CAA for them.

You not being fair after melo trade we were a playoff team for years

I don’t care if we suck now just making the playoffs to the second round twice and giving away as much as they did was a massive failure. The reason we suck now is we are starting from scratch pick wise from that trade.

Melo dragged us to the playoffs but we never built around him properly. Look at the Lakers trade for AD where they kept Kuzma. All those years of struggle runs and imagine in addition to a core of JR/Melo/Tyson they had kept Wilson or Gallo on the roster or as a separate trade asset? You don’t even want to see who the majority of those players became cause they were good picks. Also let’s not even go into how he traded for Billups and used the amnesty on him and doomed us to be stuck with Amare for 3 years to long.

At least with Phil he drafted a good player in KP (that Mills gave away for scraps) AND added picks. Hell one of the Melo picks I believe turned to Mitchell Robinson or was Mitch from one of the picks he got for JR and Shump?

Either way Phil was an a$$hole, in love with the Triangle (aka his legacy) and was here for the money and he by default fukked shyt up the least of all Knicks GMs in 20+ years.

Not that we really needed it, but that article also confirms that Perry has had input on who plays since Miller took over...

who did we lose in da melo trade that offended so much?
chandler and gallo had to go in any melo trade. u upset we lost mosgov?:russ:

or that we lost raymond felton for a year and change?

melo was gonna be traded. whether it be us or da nets. walsh made da call and we were a 50 win team a year and a half later. what we die after that (tradin for bargs, hiring phil) is what fukked up da team.

if we didnt trade for melo, you understand that amare would of been hurt the last 4 years of his deal and it would of been an allan houston/mcdice situation all over again

I keep hearing Thibs but I would prefer JVG or Becky Hammon
Especially if the Knicks get Edwards as the the Knicks can run Frank, Edwards, RJ, Knox, Mitch
JVG has experience running an offense around two wing scorers e.g. Sprewell and Houston
I think JVG would be wise enough to modernize his offense
RJ and Edwards is Sprewell and Houston 2.0 but with the potential to be a lot better IMO
Imagine having two guys who can potentially average 25+ and can both take over a playoff game
