I'm bored and I stole this idea from another thread. What if we put any 3peat Jordan on the current Knicks, how far do you think he will get us and what will be the starting lineup?

i mean that embiid stuff is typical knicks rumor thatll never happen, but you get him and a few shooters and theyre already the best theyve been since the 50 win season. rest of the supporting cast doesnt even matter.
it seams clear theyre never gonna go full rebuild, as much as i'd like that. so if theyre gonna star chase, they could do much worse than embiid. id be for it

After doing some internet scouting I think our draft board so go
Knicks Pick: Killian Hayes/Ball, Haliburton
Clippers Pick: BPA, if possible package $5 mil and the second to move up.
Could? If they doing star chasing they are going to do way worst than Embiid. Like putting Derozan on the team with RJ and then wondering why those two can’t play together. Or trading for Paul and Melo and then being surprised we don’t make the playoffs.

- Woulda been cool if the Knicks landed the double-max cat combo and brought back Melo. It's cool to hear that was strongly considered. It's also nice to see that Wood is the one name standing out for a target this offseason. I'd throw the bag at Ingram and pray but Wood is a really good option.
- Seems like Atkinson is respected but not getting that strong of consideration. Other options have been name dropped with interest attached, for Atkinson it's "idk/tbd."
- My "pick BPA and trade up from the Clippers pick for Kira Lewis" strategy feels like it got an endorsement at the end there too. The draft lottery will really help me pick a direction. Add LaMelo and Mannion to the 5 PG's listed there and that's 7 PG's projected in the top 25 without mentioning Jones or Winston who are projected in the 25-35 range (I like both to be quality back-up PG's). With that many, I might play chicken and hope somebody slips...assuming one of those guys isn't the BPA with our top 10 selection.

Kira is comfortably in the 10-20 range now. Depending on the team, i can see him going in the lottery... some teams like Kira more than Maxey who a lot of scouts have as a top 10 prospect.
RJ Hampton stock is falling. Barring a chance to workout for teams, he could fall out of the lottery.
Nesmith looks like the second best wing in the draft behind Okoro... (Edwards and Hayes aren’t considered wings)
Teams think Nnaji can play the 4 in the league... I have spent zero time thinking about bigs in this draft so...
And finally, for Nico Mannion fans, he could be there for us at the clippers pick. Veccine thinks Tyrell Terry is yet another pg that looks better than him who has declared for the draft. Terry has me intrigued, I’m starting to hear more and more of him on some of the draft podcasts I’ve listened to...

I could convince myself to take Cassius Winston over nico mannion...Kira Lewis is a dude I want to trade up for with that clippers pick. RJ outside the lottery is a really nice pick! Every time I listen to scouts Nesmith is like a pet favorite fam. He’s always getting a ton of love.
