DSJ played 5 fukking minutes tonight and 10 minutes the night before

The rock brain Randle does what he wants on the court including forcing iso's and demanding post touches don't put that all on Fiz

and frank played a total of like 3 minutes the last two games
dsj wont get a dnp (coaches decision) at any point this season if he's healthy
That last play was straight up designed for randle despite him being dog shyt all night
At some point the coach has to see whats obviously NOT working and tell randle to move the fukk around and set screens and roll his ass to the basket.
or shyt pull that play straight out of new orleans playbook that gets him going down hill and his most dangerous.
But nah he empowers players to do whatever the fukk they want
fiz just lets his favorites do whatever the fukk with little to no get back for it

He didn't play tonight for good reason

It's disingenous to act like DSJ has this long leash he played 5 minutes

There's no reigning in a low I.Q. player like Randle he feels he can bully his way to buckets and on this team he feels he's the number one option. He is being paid and already told by the front office to shoot to be an All-Star. The man is gassed in the head.

And no the play broke down it was for Ellington and it led to a Randle iso. Randle could have scored if he didn't have garbage hands because Allen wasn't in position to stop him.

Bottom line is we can’t continue to go into shootouts with other teams because we won’t win. Defense was preached at the beginning but we letting teams put up 110+ points up on us . That is not acceptable.

We have struggled to defend the three but we're forcing a lot of turnovers. 16 steals in game one, 14 steals tonight.

Certain line-ups have held it down and defended for spurts and caused droughts against the Spurs and Nets.

Got a a laundry list of things we can put the blame on but people want to continue to put this on frank. Dude got pulled after 3 minutes in the first game.

meanwhile blockhead Randle goes iso all game and has mad turnovers.
Mitch committing fouls at an alarming rate.
Morris resorts to Iso most of the time and always involved in fukkery so then he gets a technical or fouls someone.
Trier is a liability on defense. So even with him going off he gives up a lot.
DSJ has a bum back and has looked bad on both sides .
Ellington was chucking game 1
Knox defense was atrocious in game 1 when derozan muscled him.
Portis is missing every three and is a turnstile on defense.
Fizdale has put together some of the craziest lineups, barely calls any plays and doesn’t seems to know what to do when the game is on the line.

but yea let’s blame frank the guy that got pulled after 3 minutes of play. After he fed taj and he bricked a dunk. After the refs didn’t call a goaltend when it was obvious . When Bobby Portis was lazy and didn’t get his ass to the ball when it was passed to him. Frank didn’t play up to par but if we’re going to throw him under the bus constantly then we should do it more to some of these guys that should be shouldering more of the blame. So of you posters are biased and can’t see the benefits a player like that brings to the team. Some New Yorkers are so in love with this iso players that have nice handles and hate any other pg style.

Then comes Dotson. A consistent player for us on both sides of the floor that we drafted but he has yet to get any burn. I see veterans and free agents getting the bulk of the playing time this year and that’ll be another year of not developing out draft picks. That’s why our organization is in the doldrums. We look for the quick fix and have no patience for young players.

2.) DSJ isn’t it. RC Cola Steve Francis, but even worse - he stagnates the flow on offense and offer nothing on defense

3.) Portis out there just for muscle, otherwise useless.

4.) Fiz gotta find a way to get Barrett & Knox on the floor at the same time.

5.) some combo of Payton/Frank - RJ - Knox - Randle/Morris - Mitch is probably our best lineup give or take. Move Morris-Trier into the first two off the bench x carry the 2nd unit

Get all the steals you want but if we keep letting teams score all over the place we won’t win a game. Basketball is more that steals it’s about stopping the other team from scoring. Steals helps but doesn’t tel the whole story.

I agree with all of this except number 2, i wanna give Smith Jr more time before i make an opinion
