DSJ situation really highlights Fizdale's coaching deficiencies.

Besides putting players in the dog house and benching them, his other go to move is pitting players against each other and having open battles for spots out in the public. Completely disregarding players personalities. Coaching is not a one size fits all situation.

DSJ is only 21 years old and looked like a broken man in post game interview yesterday. Frank lacks confidence and is a team comes first guy, Knox is mentally fragile as well and Mitch is immature.

So now DSJ's confidence is shattered and there is going to be tons of unnecessary pressure on Frank when he gets a chance.

This doesn't look to me like a guy who is motivated by having to go at his teammates

I wouldn't endorse it, but if the Knicks traded for Chris Paul, I'd understand because the PG situation is that bad.

I’m only against a Chris Paul trade because of his age and what we would have to give up. If Chris Paul was guaranteed to be in the league for another 5 years that’s one thing but nobody wants our pieces outside of Mitch, Knox and RJ. I think our draft decisions through all these bad seasons have been really good so I don’t want to give up picks either. I think we are gonna have to wait til free agency or if someone comes calling about Randle.

Absolutely.

I'm a Frank supporter but I know it's 100% over for him in NY. That ship has already sailed.

I'm just using him as an example of poor coaching. As a coach and organization you want to put your players, especially young players, in the best position to succeed. Although Frank is maybe not the best example since he was drafted by the previous regime.

But do you think Boston would treat Knox the way he's being handled here? It's not looking good for Mitch either without DeAndre here.

not but Foreal I’m giving DSJ the benefit of the doubt because I believe he’s hurt . I also believe a player should be given a fair shot and be allowed to make mistakes and played through said mistakes. Minor injuries shouldn’t cause a player to lose his job either.

everyone on this team should be treated the same but it’s clear Fiz has his favorites. You can add Dotson to the list of players in Fiz doghouse. Seems like free agents have first priority with this regime rather than the ones that were drafted here.

what ever happened to brazdeikis?! Our only cac and he can’t get burn ? My man look official in summer league. You never know what you got in a player if you don’t play him.

Facts. Fiz would have already benched RJ and probably doesn’t play him at all in that 2nd game of the back-to-back...all just to send the rookie a “message” and try to get in his head. Bron really got this man thinking he is The GOAT Whisperer or sum sh*t, like be has some special insight into what players need to hear in order to reach max potential. His track record so far does not support this...

1- reporter brought up a good point that Frank locked down Kemba during FIBA. why the fukk did he not play more than 18 seconds?!

2- Frank backing up DSJ against the crowd (even if it meant him getting minutes) like a real one
