We just can't sustain long periods of good defense. Even when everyone is trying there's always a dumb foul, wide open 3 or easy break away dunk.

nah its not talent. they have the athleticism, lateral movement and capability.....its just randle and portis are low iq players. it is what it is.

Everything going right would involve Randle playing intelligent basketball which certainly didn't occur in any games we could've won or the game we did win

Portis on defense looks like one of those dudes that was paralyzed but just learned how to walk again.

That wasn't me blaming it on one guy. I'm just saying everything wasn't going right in those close games, nor in that game we won. They just played hard and smart for the most part. Even this game was close a few times after we lost Mitch. There's the bones of a team here. I believe that. I just don't know if the bones will be put together correctly though

I can't remember who I was arguing with before season started when I said we have 3 good defenders and a bunch of turnstiles.

Mitch, Frank and Morris RJ has also really impressed on defense, I didn't expect that after the summer league. But he's still a rookie and makes some mistakes.
