The anger over Phil shytting on Fat Iverson is the source of this irrational behavior I'm convinced. If Mills and co had picked Frank the aggy behavior would be a fraction of what it is.

There is a strong correlation between Fat Iverson stans and dudes who get in their feelings over Frank. These dudes also tend to be the ones who cape for Fiz trash ass.

It's ok guy's, it's over, Phil can't hurt your feelings anymore. He was right about Fat Iverson and that fact will forever piss you off. But direct your anger towards Phil somewhere else beloved's. He's gone and Fat Iverson will forever be remembered as a underachieving disappointment. Frank could break his leg tomorrow and it still wouldn't satisfy your lust for anger towards Phil. He did a number on you guys, got lifelong fans jumping ship:wow: and defending garbage coaching. The Zen Masters troll game sticks to folks ribs long after the fact, it truly is impressive.

The Time Has Come: Frank Ntilikina Should Be Permanently Installed As The Knicks Starting Point Guard This Season

Went from Frank Ntilikina to Frank Fill-The-Sheet-Up

:wow:

It was, quite literally, a historic performance. According to Basketball-Reference, Ntilikina became the first player in Knicks franchise history to tally at least four made 3PT's, four thefts and three blocks in the same game. Furthermore, at 21 years of age, he is also the youngest player in NBA history with at least four triples, four steals and three swats in a single contest.

porzingis was phils pick so that doesnt make sense.

people arent losing starting positions over pre season.
Which player LOST a starting position? The position was up for grabs. That's why half the games Elfrid started, and half Dennis started. Through 4 games coming off the bench Frank played better than both. So if one of them was supposed to be the defacto starter they LOST that position in Game 1 when none of them started. You don't think that if the 2 pgs who were trying out for the starting pg position don't get it that the third should get a run? Or that he should at least see time on the court before halftime?

You dudes need to stop being obtuse about this

Nah, I don’t think the issue is revolving around Melo. I don’t even think many of the fans feel that way. I’m a big fan of his and Frank and don’t care for Fiz. It’s strictly about the front office being petty with Phil and shyt we probably have no idea what happened in the final days.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I just don’t understand how the fukk Frank has polarized the damn fan base so damn much.

Some of us like a player who does great things on defense and others think defense is only useful when it's accompanied by average offense.

This has always been the real debate. All that Phil/Melo talk has zero relevancy on the debate about Frank.

I feel that pass first / defensive-minded PGs should still have a modicum of offensive competency for two reasons. The first, is to keep the defense honest. The second reason is because there are times a team needs the PG to put up some points when nothing else is working.

The last two games have shown that Frank has potentially become a competent offensive threat. In other words, a well rounded point guard.

I also think we're having 2 different discussions also

Some naysayers make arguments that Frank is never gonna be a starting point guard because of the reasons you state. Which I'm fine with that. The argument I've always made is that a great defender should be getting minutes regardless of whether he's putting the ball in the basket. I don't care if Frank starts because ultimately he's probably never going to be a good starting NBA point guard. But I think it's stupid to not play him

Edit: So the 2 discussions are "Frank as the potential starting point guard" and "Frank as a regular rotation player"

That defense in the 4th with Gibson in the line up
:whew:

The Bulls knew what they were doing when they had him. He had the most 4th Quarter minutes when they had him. Either Gibson or Robinson should be on the floor with Randle at all times. Frank and RJ in the Back court, and Morris or Knox at SF.

Frank was an overwhelming net negative when he stepped on the court his first two seasons :heh:

I'm being dead serious (NO TROLL). But I really don't understand the love affair for him. Every other player on the Knicks, even the coach has been sh*tted on by NYK fans (especially on this board) yet Frankfurter gets pass after pass after pass.
