Word!

I want to say Fiz was giving a raw deal so bad.
But his coaching has been so sub-par, I can’t.

I don’t know what’s the origin of Mills and Dolan relationship. It’s was always weird to me how Mills got the GM job, randomly out of nowhere.
I look up his resume, and dude had no real NBA talent evaluating experience. I know he worked for MSG prior to that.

I hate to say it. But Mills is the dude who Head we should be calling for...it’s like they’re making Fiz the scapegoat.
Fiz has played a large role but Mills has played a much larger destructive role over a long period of time
Idk what Mills does
At least Perry has a great eye for NBA talent e.g. RJ, Mitch, Trier even though he played a role in the signings too
so if he gets canned I think he should be demoted to Knicks draft scouting expert
Mills can go though
Fiz will be scapegoated of course in Perry and Mills' attempt to save their jobs

Mills' background is in marketing.

Fiz is definitely being made the scapegoat here. the fact that Mills & Perry addressed the media without coach or the team knowing is a stray shot. at least have the decency to give your locker room the heads up. that just shows no cohesion between the front office and the players.

i hope the team balls out for Fiz tomorrow. good coach, bad coach... he's taking more of the blame than he should.

let me ask y'all something

y'all were excited when Randle signed

now he's trash to y'all

so why was y'all excited in the first place? clearly y'all saw something you liked

so is his play an indicator of him or the franchise/coaching/roster?

Knicks are using Randle has the #1 option on offense, and anyone who's watched in LA or NO would've told you that was a bad idea.

Dude can score & get rebounds, but is a TERRIBLE playmaker.

I've said before in this thread. The Knicks don't have any playmakers on the team, and haven't for years. Last one I can think of was Jason Kidd.

i never watched randle play like that
i give everyone who comes to my squad a fresh slate.
after 1 pre season game, i told everyone in here hes not my cup of tea

but people in here are trying to make him da scapegoat. knick fans in general always wan a find a singular thing to blame for da teams failures. whole team is just trash
Calling him the scapegoat insinuates that we're blaming him for the losses. I don't think you can with a straight face say any of us are blaming him for the losses. So I'm not sure why you're saying this

that's a lie. once y'all got over that the A free agents dissed yall, y'all were happy to land Randle. stop it

rare honesty in this thread
Rare honesty from a nikka who never said he was EXCITED to have him on the squad. He said he gave him a clean slate and said he wasn't his cup of tea after preseason game ONE.

If Frank can't guard fast guards then that is a problem because he doesn't score enough to offset it offensively
The Knicks need to either

1) get a PG and slide Frank to the 2 or 3 (isn't Frank 6'7 now?)

2) Make him be the 1st backup PG off the bench as defensive specialist

3) If the Knicks draft Wiseman, include him(or not), Mitch, and possibly others (excluding RJ) for a star PG

PG/RJ/Shooter/Knox/Wiseman or PG/Frank/RJ/Knox/Wiseman

The Knicks need to rethink what they are doing with this roster or they will be bad for a long time
No one is safe outside of RJ and Mitch. Mitch is not safe if the Knicks draft Wiseman though

I’m talking about him saying people are making him the scapegoat. By people, he means you. Of course you would overlook that.

Frank is 6’4 barefoot. So around 6’5.5 in sneakers.

all players improve due to their work in the offseason
you guys are just playin dumb at this point
your pretty much saying no coach deserves any credit for any player improving on their game
No, we're saying when players improve as the season progresses, you can give the coach credit. When players in the Spurs start the season as unknowns and finish the season as valued role players, we know that it's due to the Spurs franchise developing their players. We have seen no evidence of Knicks players being developed in season. And that's because there's been no system put in place, no special coaches hired, there hasn't been jack shyt but "we need to play better.". That's not development. That's not coaching. If all of these players were assigned to meet with specific trainers and coaches in the off-season then I'd be more forgiven, and I'll take it all back if that's the case. But nothing has been shown too me that that is the case. They tell these players to work on certain shyt and leave them to their devices. That's why Dennis seems to have regressed... That's why Mitch seems to have regressed... And that's why the one player that Fizdale has shown not a single iota of a fukk about developing has progressed.

The Knicks need to either

Where is this coming comng from?

I haven't seen evidence Frank can't guard fast guards. He's already played a few and he defended well when he wasnt switched off on screens.
