bu bu but frank is so great defensively

this ain't football u dweebs. he's a 0 on offense. he has the aggression of @ikbm around women

can't shoot. oops I mean won't shoot.

he's a PG who can't even demand the ball from vets cause he's shook of them

scared of driving in the paint to score or create

has no mid range

I bet he's reached double digit assists less than 5x in his career

but he's so amazing because instead of his man scoring 25, they'll score 18 while Frank is giving you a season high 8 points

the only reason he gets love here is because he's so shook and invisible that you can't hate on him for not fukking things up because he doesn't by doing nothing. while other guys are trying to make things happen so it's obvious to the naked eye and easier to criticize
I aint read this shyt. I'm only here cause I got tagged
I'm almost 100 percent sure you said some shyt I already said.
Stop pretending to give a shyt about the knicks cause julius fakkit ass on this team

Pops coaching would've had this kid looking decent. Offense comes from great defense.

Y’all think Pop a magician it ain’t that simple

Dejounte still can’t shoot a lick and he averaging 23 minutes a game

You think Pop has patience for Frank’s bullshyt? Y’all got on Fiz for benching Frank that first game but Pop would have been even worse.

I bet you would like him if he did nothing on the court like Frank

god forbid he actually tries and asserts himself

him trying is more of a hindrance. I wish that nikka would STOP trying :mjlol:
he's awful at defense and turns the ball over more than players with twice his usage with bone headed plays.
for every thing good he offers on offense, he gives back on defense. And calling what he does on offense "good" is a stretch.
asserting himself to 4 turnovers a game like he's harden or westbrook, with half of the production and worse defense somehow

This is the type of shyt that could justify firing a coach but realistically the roster is just trash due to its make up

Yeah the offense is pretty simple, but I gotta throw some bail to Fiz because there is plenty of blame to go around. First off, Fiz is trying to integrate 8 new players into the offense, and the guys who were already on the team are still relatively new to the league themselves, so it's kinda hard to introduce more complex actions into the offense until they foster some chemistry and can get the timing right on certain plays. Also, the Roster doesn't seem to fit with what Fiz likes to run too. Rather than calling up a lot of pick and rolls, Fiz opts for a lot of pindowns, hand-offs and iso's instead. The hand-offs should naturally flow into other actions ( like the pick and roll ), but, most times, guys like Randle and Portis are just calling their own number instead, then either making ill-advised drives, or taking ill-advised jumpers( Also, when Randle drives the defense knows to collapse hard too, since he never passes out after he makes his first move). There aren't too many shooters or scorers on the team to take advantage of the pindowns ( they don't always come off the screens clean either, or the timing is off sometimes, another chemistry issue ), and even if Fiz wanted to run more pick and rolls, it remains to be seen whether any of the guards can effectively and consistently run it since they all have glaring issues (Dsjr and Payton can't shoot, and Frank doesn't attack enough ). Right now, the Knicks have a situation where everybody on the team is making each other worse; there are too many poor fits and the young guys aren't ready to compete at a high level. When December 15th comes around Perry has got to blow it up, give the young guys extra minutes and give them more of a chance to develop instead.

For some reason, they had RJ starting off on Sexton throughout the night. Occasionally, Frank was switched on him and he had moderate success on D but he got cooked a time or two.
I'm not just referencing his D on Sexton, he played decent D on Fox too when he was on him. Both games he stopped transition buckets when he was on them and forced passes off of drives.

Yeah this is accurate, Frank was on Garland most of the time and he made it a miserable night for him, he really didn't really see much of Sexton until the second half. I thought Frank played a decent game tbh :manny:

The only one who needs to get the fukk outta here right now is Mills:hhh:
I'm pretty sure the 3 of them claimed to be in sync when it comes to the roster and moves being made. I'm pretty certain Fiz was okay with the players we brought in thinking he could harness the talent and veteran leadership

This right here is exactly what the problem is with Fizdale. Yes, the roster Pills gave him is trash. Yes, the youth off the bench look like they never played organized basketball (Trier and Knox).

But that doesn't excuse the fact that he doesn't have any type of system after a year and a half with the team. Nobody knows what his coaching philosophy is. He will say anything but implement nothing.

We all agree he's been given a bad group of players. But he's unable to distinguish garbage from hot garbage. He didn't know who his PG would be after the off-season, remeber that RJ/Knox starting lineup :gucci:. He never seemed to be set on Mitch starting because he believed Portis would stretch the court :gucci: only player that has any calls/plays set for him is Wayne Ellington.

And regardless of talent level or team built, no team should be blown out in 5 out of opening 10 games and show so little effort at home against Cavs.

Jokes aside, I am honestly not sure if Fizdale should be fired this season. It will be very interesting to see how the team responds tonight, knowing their coach’s job might be on the line, we’ll see if they have his back and correct some of the errors they’ve been consistently making. If they don’t, then that might be a sign that he is not the right coach for them...at which point just let Fiz go already.

Side note: Imagine convincing yourself that the coach has nothing to do with the struggles just because you've spent the last two years acting pissy about a draft pick you didn't like. Check out the regression from all of the guys we brought in. They were flawed players but they've always been serviceable...not this year.

Now hopefully with his job on the hot seat, Fiz will step up and the players will respond. They like him, they should work hard at least.
