What I mean though is whether the offense (and to a lesser extent the defense) is looking somewhat sustainable with the players we have on the court. Or is this flash in the pan because someone (RJ) got hot

RJ should be playing more point. Fiz did it to start the season, but had to play Smith eventually.
We are taking less 3's and getting better shots.

Warriors without Steph or Klay are probably as good as Chicago who beat us so our offense is looking a lot more fluid. RJ is actually doing a great job at point guard. The vets are mostly passing to the vets though.

Morris was a problem too with his ISO but he has since calmed down on that end so I don't mind him
when he's not going bootleg Melo mode
Plus he fits nicely at PF on a better constructed Knicks team
