I think Jrue is a great pg to have, I’ve wanted frank to model his game after him.

And honestly they have enough picks, we should also stockpile ours although we're in dire need of a point guard outside of Payton.

Without CP we’re a 17-23 win team fighting for the number 1 pick. With CP we win 35 games, still miss the playoffs and now are stuck with the 10th pick, that means no wiseman, edwards, melo.

If CP was in his prime, of course you jump all over the opportunity to get him. But not at this stage of his career. I wouldn’t be opposed to trading him for at the end of the season, but you can’t risk losing a top 3-5 pick for 35 wins.

I think the trade would be pulled by the deadline. It's no way by then we'd get to 35 wins. And with the way the lottery system is set up now it doesn't even matter.

We can get CP3 and still land one of Edwards/Cole/LaMelo.

These next two drafts are weak. The next transcendent level superstar player Emoni Bates doesn't come out until 2022 or 2023 depending if you can go prep to pro by then.

If we land a Cole or LaMelo it's going to take development. I'm not sure they are Ja Morant types, or Kyrie Irving/John Wall/Derrick Rose/Donovan Mitchell types that can come in and ball out as rookies and be ready to lead an organization.

That should be your first priority.

YAll are so worried about winning games with cp3, when the reality is, yall got plenty of wins to spare. Plus yall still aint talented and cohesive enough to win that many games this season. Especially towards the end of the season when teams will be jockeying for playoff position.


Finally the cp3 contract isn't that bad when you look at it like this.

By then you should have a core and can make moves....

These guys just want to stockpile draft picks and young players on top of the young players we have and just let 'em play relying on ping pong balls and player development, and hoping a big free agent comes, continually losing within a toxic culture. It's no way to build a team.

It's not gonna work and none of these guys are truly transcendent prospects like that even in the upcoming draft
