Frank is building chemistry with Mitch, I'd let that cook for a while. Frank is getting confidence with him. I don't want to put too much on RJ now, he's struggling, probably fatigued. Let him get to the all star break in a third man role then rest up and see what he can do.
This would be greatly to our benefit as these two could make us a top defense in the league at some point in the future

These games are really worth watching now.

I wanna see Miller roll out a bench unit with Frank, Bullock, Dotson, Knox and Mitch, let them cook for a bit. Also, towards the end of the season replace Frank with Barrett in those lineups just to see Barrett operate with space and a good roll man.

You know what could be cool? Make RJ the first sub out and then bring him back in early to run an all youth line-up for a while. The starters would get a short spell with bullock and Morris spacing the floor for Payton and Randle.

The second unit would have dot and Knox to space things while frank and RJ attack through mitch’s screens. It’d only be a handful of minutes in sequences but could help develop chemistry and if it doesn’t work you can get a bet or two back in before things go out of control.

Y’all see these goofy motherfukkers in the RJ thread? Saying he a bust. We almost 3 months into his first season and he’s a bust?:mjlol:
He's having a typical average up and down rookie season

Don't listen to them they're haters

Even if it's like that for the rest of the season, that's fine as he is a rookie

I would give him 5 years of development starting from his rookie season before calling him a bust

I feel like he has an extremely high ceiling if he can continue to improve his shot and get stronger which I think he will

I still have a good feeling about RJ's upside

I think RJ would get help if he was able to get into rhythm earlier and get some confidence going is my logic. When he's aggressive driving he's a bully and with more space hopefully his junper comes. He was looking like competition for Ja as far as Roy early in the season to me:ohhh:

That RJ you saw in the beginning of the season will be his upside on steroids along with decent free throw, midrange, and 3pt shooting as well as more elite strength and moves in his arsenal

This is why I don't overreact when he struggles because I believe he could be a special player if he improves his weaknesses

For sure. It’s just funny how reactionary these dudes are. Ready to throw the towel in on a rookie.

R.J. shooting numbers are just :scust: that boy broke

3PT: 32%
10-16 feet: 29%
16 feet to 3PT line: 30%
3-10 feet: 24%

Jumpshot: 30%
FT: 55%

Need a whole lot of reps this offseason and more on ball usage and better spacing in years to come.

Finishing at and around the rim is bad too.

Converting only 54% at the rim and shooting 42% on lay-ups. Too left handed and lacking finesse/skill too much bully ball and at this stage of his career not getting the calls. Better spacing will also help him here tho as well.

Yea, I agree but...... I think Dotson or Knox would be capitalizing off those open shots over RJ but I'm gonna stay outta that.
