Y’all doing way too much with Wooten chill the fukk out
nikka calm down . Brehs can’t even be excited for a good prospect being promoted within the organization :dahell:

Bet you would’ve said some shyt if golden state would’ve came in and swiped him. A few other players could’ve been thrown in the bushes for Wooten.

So wait we waived the guy who was avg a double/double for the guy who is avg 8/6 cause he jumps good?

Rabb had 2 years of NBA and G-league experience before this and his numbers besides rebounding have dipped in Westchester. I'd rather take chances on the super athlete who's raw but getting rave reviews for development from Westchester staff and who has a ridiculous motor. This was a move based on tools. There's a reason reports came out that teams were eyeing Kenny for a 10 day contract, there's a foundation to build on.

Put it this way, players inside of 5 feet shoot below 50% against Wooten in the G-league. He leads the league in opponent's field goal against from that close.

This Morris situation is annoying as shyt at a time where collecting assets should be number one priority, not this thinly veiled attempt at showing OUTSIDE players the organization can be loyal. Star FAs aren't running to New York to play with Mook and he's not ultimately going to be a difference maker for this team, whereas additional picks, combined with other assets can be.

You have Gibson, Portis, Knox, Iggy, Morris, Randle and now conceivably Wooten for the rest of the year. Taj and Portis will likely be gone next year, Randle is locked in for another year, Knox, Iggy and Wooten in the wings and Morris is a flight risk. That could leave us from having these 7 this year to having 4 of them next year and nothing to really show of it because you're not taking the time to develop 3/4 of the remaining 4.

He's been awesome here. Now go.

Trade him, get a late 1st round pick, use that pick and other assets (DSJ, Trier, Dallas picks) to move Randle to try to get a second pick in the lottery, develop Knox, Wooten and Iggy as your forwards for the future.

I'd kill to see -

Mitch/Wiseman
Wooten/Knox
Knox/Iggy/Barrett
Barrett/Dotson/Frank
Edwards, Ball, Cole, Manion or Haliburton/Frank

As our 9 man rotation, keep Bullock and old head role playing vets for spot duty as needed.

Run with the youngins, let them get their lumps and go from there.

I mean...the NBA is a business and I respect his hustle. If you worked in white corporate America, wouldn't you wanna fake it til you make it and leave on short notice? Let's be honest. Now at the same time, we don't know the underlying circumstances. They probably couldn't find someone valuable. I said to trade him to the Lakers for Kuzma and whatever assets.
