We not saying shyt. They hired stoute for that purpose. The Knicks have an image problem. Putting subways graffiti on the court and changing the logo won’t fix that.

Knicks again top Forbes NBA franchise valuation list, now worth $4.6 billion - ProBasketballTalk | NBC Sports

You are double talking or not following what i am saying, there is no NEED FOR STEVE STOUTE, the image problem is that they are a successfully run franchise that has a losing problem on the BASKETBALL court period.

Most sports teams have to win to make money and fill the arenas they play in the Knicks don't have that problem and haven't in 20yrs with the exception of a few years here and there, the problem with the Knicks is on the court and they need to make sure on basketball side they have the right guy.... Steve Stoute can't help with none of that and is a bs vanity label and Stoute double talking like he will get players here

I agree with you. Knicks have an image as in perception problem. No a visual image problem. Nobody picks teams cause they have “cool jerseys”. KD was so full of shyt when he said what he said. I was just contesting that WE were in this thread saying we need Stoute.

on "pace" doesn't mean anything to me
like i said, mayb you can judge an 82 game season after 22 games, but i can't.
Been pontificating on this for a lil bit. I don't think I've inferred that you can judge an 82 game season after 22 games, but rather that you can judge a coaches performance in that time. You're right in that wins and losses alone don't mean anything, but if I bring up a coaches decisions in how they've achieved the record they did, the argument holds less weight

Look, I understand the roster ain't great. However, everyone said before the season began that "Julius Randle needs to iso and post up less, and operate as the roll man more." Everyone said "Julius can be a good defender when he's focused." At the bare minimum, a coach who's trying to win games should put his primary option in a position to succeed. Instead, the coach allowed his top option to operate in the LEAST optimal way offensively, and switched defenses at a whim so Randle could never be competent defensively. Putting the Knicks losses only on roster construction is a copout and pretending that things would get better when the coach never made any effort to put his best player in a position to succeed before getting canned is being disingenuous imo. There are other reasons but that's the main one.

under normal circumstances, mayb
not when you have a completely different starting line up from the previous year and you are trying to find a weird balance between playin the older guys and developin da younger guys.

you atleast gotta give dude until the allstar break. or just let him finish out the season, what was the rush exactly? i thought we were preachin patience? my main issue was, it was a knee jerk reaction to borrow mills some extra time.. i didnt like how it went down.

he blamed da coach, and once dolan saw dat we were still trash with miller, he fired him.

even when miller coaching, this whole season is a wash. young of da younger guys are gettib priority. i would of liked to see us came back wit a similar starting line up from last season wit da addition of barrett.

What do you see differently about putting your most talented player in a position to succeed if you're trying to win games?

Actually, you were told one of the two between he and Morris needs to come off the bench. My preference was Randle. I haven't posted in a month and Mook is gone. None of that has to do with what I wrote in my post.
