Actually, you were told one of the two between he and Morris needs to come off the bench. My preference was Randle. I haven't posted in a month and Mook is gone. None of that has to do with what I wrote in my post.

if you think randle was our most talented player, why would you bring him off the bench?
how is that putting him in the best position to succeed?

With Harkless on the team the Knicks have a couple of good defenders at each position aside from pf. Carving out a strong defensive identity for a team with a bunch of young players is gonna pay off in the long run imo.

I've actually enjoyed watching the Knicks play during the last few games or so; they play hard, the team is well coached, and they've been very good on defense. If the Knicks can play like this for the rest of the season then I'm good regardless of the team's record.

I'm able to compartmentalize. Just because I prefer Morris as a first option doesn't mean I'm not able to see Julius Randle has star level talent. My opinions of him aside, he is our most talented and best player if he's reined in (which Fiz didn't do). And if you are head coach who's plan obviously is to win, then your goal should either be to maximize your best players (plural) or to create a system that maximizes the abilities of your team as a whole.
