My nikka this is year 3 and son was in the G-League most of the season :mjlol:

I never liked him coming out of college dude been overrated. His on court temper sucks.

10/3/2 on 43/30/68 splits is not balling a handful of cool games ain’t fooling me.

We need to stop with the damn reclamation projects and he’s not a good fit with what we have. Give me Malik Beasley.
:stopitslime:
nikka Jackson is better than any small forward on this roster
And we have 2 Knox and iggy
He has the talent just needs the right situation
If kenny Atkinson becomes the coach
He would thrive here
Malik is not leaving minnesota

He doesn't have the talent dude was never that nice. He has the same trash shooting splits from his rookie year :mjlol: boy can't shoot.

He's not a good fit with our roster and we should be looking to move R.J. to SF as soon as next season. How does it make sense to add a high usage non-shooter with a bad temper to our team. He will not thrive here he'll be mediocre how many times do the Knicks have to take on a bust. :snoop:

Malik Beasley is an option we can offer him something Minny won't match or poison pill his contract. If he sustains his play it will be hard to get him. If he doesn't come then cool but Josh Jackson is azz cheeks stop wasting time on these bums I can't believe y'all really geeked off his name.

Forget the Jackson talk I am hesitant to move RJ to SF because his best asset is his strength/size compared to most other SG’s. You put him at SF and they are just as quick as he is and in a lot of cases 2-4 inches taller. At first I thought him at at SG was a mistake but honestly it’s where he needs to play most of his career. He should get minutes at the 3 if talent wise he is the best fit, but you shouldn’t design the roster for him to be the SF.

Josh Jackson isn’t a star but he is young with upside, the reclamation project works isn’t a bad idea either if they use it to fill holes and get guys on good deals.

Also we could get Malik but we would have to pay him something stupid so the wolves don’t match like 27 mil a year. Like you see teams take that risk, when they tried to pry Otto Porter, and Allen Crabbe. It’s a large level of risk and move RJ to the 3 which is once again not as ideal as you would think.

I'm guessing you would prefer a prospect like Terrence Clarke over Jalen Green or prefer the Knicks not drafting Edwards?

I agree w/ you I prefer RJ at the 2 as he can bully other 2s but I accept he may move to the 3 due to drafting, free agency, or coaching

However, if the Knicks suck again next season (which they probably will), RJ can stay at the 2 if they get a prospect like Terrence Clarke or Cade Cunningham

Oh No it’s best player available at this point. RJ can play SF, it’s just not his ideal position for most games. However Edwards is likely going first and the Knicks will likely not get that pick and have one of Ball, Hayes, or Haliburton to choose from. I do think we’ll be bad next year and as you have pointed out it’s a very good SF draft year. If they draft high, picking up a pg this year, and drafting a high SF next year, and having a young team starting to hit its prime on good deals isn’t the worst move...... especially when they use their money right they will only have a need at PF and that is the best PF free agency in the next couple of years.

Basically I think we can get better players in the draft in the next two years to put around RJ and Mitch. We need to shore up the role players (Frank, Knox, Dotson, maybe JJ) on good cheap deals now and role the money over 1 more year to 2021 FA to get a somebody worth overpaying, who can fit what we need at that point.

R.J. as a point forward with shooters around him and a playmaking point is optimal for me. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be fine at the 3 position he should be quicker than certain 3's and I expect him to be around 225-230 lb. soon. R.J. needs the ball and spacing.

Please just stop with the Josh Jackson shyt :scust:

Another free agent to look at:

I thought he looked alright when he played NY a couple of days ago, but he's another one who's been putting up numbers since the All-Star break. Didn't realize he was a free agent at first, but not only is he a free agent this year he's also unrestricted. NY should make trading Randle and signing this guy a priority (on a reasonable contract that is). Any PF who can stretch the floor and not be a total liability on defense should be high on NY's to sign list imo.
