A couple of guys the Knicks should look at later in the draft:

Jalen Smith, Stretch 4/5 who can protect the rim:

Kira Lewis jr., scoring pg, he's also fast as hell:

I think both are very likely to move up in mocks, but as of now both would be great pick ups with that Clippers pick.

Lauri or Christian Wood at the 4, I'mma consider the off-season a bit of a disappointment if the Knicks can't get either.

I was just thinking of that time the Knicks traded for Antonio McDyess

:russ::snoop:

June 26, 2002: Traded by the Denver Nuggets with Frank Williams and a 2003 2nd round draft pick (Maciej Lampe was later selected) to the New York Knicks for Marcus Camby, Nenê and Mark Jackson.

January 5, 2004: Traded by the New York Knicks with Howard Eisley, Maciej Lampe, Charlie Ward, Milos Vujanic, a 2004 1st round draft pick (Kirk Snyder was later selected) and a 2010 1st round draft pick (Gordon Hayward was later selected) to the Phoenix Suns for Anfernee Hardaway, Stephon Marbury and Cezary Trybański.

....that 2010 First Rounder that Utah used to pick Gordon Hayward 9th overall....Paul George went 10th.

:mjcry:

Kira’s going top 20. My dream scenario is trade Julius to Minny for the Nets pick and draft Kira to run with Edwards. :blessed:

I knew Lauri would want out. I been saying we need to get him here.
Bulls are changing management. I wouldn’t count him available just yet. Especially if they hire one of the coveted young GMs out there like the dude from Toronto or Denver.

How much do y’all think it would cost to sign Woods and Van Vleet this off season. Those are perfect young vets to put next to RJ and hopefully Edwards.

Wouldn't sign either, got to continue rebuilding through the draft.

I figure Van Vleet will need a big overpay to leave Toronto for a bottom 10 team. You could have a leap forward of an offseason if you added FVV and Wood along with a good draft. I've seen Deni slip to 6th in mocks, that'd be really nice. Find a way to get Kira Lewis (I don't think he goes top 20 but we'd have to trade up from the Clips pick). That would mean FVV, Lewis, Deni, Wood join RJ, Mitch, Frank, Knox along with the vets we keep (Taj and Bullock for me) to give us a promising young rotation that should target the postseason imo.

FVV / Lewis
RJ / Frank
Deni / Bullock
Wood / Knox
Mitch / Taj

Flip Deni and Bullock if he's not ready for starter minutes. That's a fun squad.

Disclaimer: Most of this is unlikely but none of it is impossible. It's just fun to picture.

Not for nothing I was listening to this podcast and shyt I think he has legit sources with Leon in charge and he made it sound like Dotson is out.

Also he brought up a point I don’t think we’ve considered before. Leon Rose has as a CAA agent fukked over the Knicks more than anyone ever......

Like this is a Fox in the Hen house situation and pretty damn risky.

I’m not as worried about that... he was being the best agent he could be when he fukked the Knicks over every chance he got. I can only believe he’ll put that much enthusiasm and dedication to his new “client”, the Knicks organization. Whether he’s actually gonna be good at this specific job is another discussion but you’d have to believe that he’s only in this job as some master vendetta to use his actions against the Knicks as a knock on what he’d try to do for them now.
