I was watching some old Knicks/Heat game on YouTube and now I'm curious. How many championships do we have if Pat Riley stayed?

I’m not as worried about that... he was being the best agent he could be when he fukked the Knicks over every chance he got. I can only believe he’ll put that much enthusiasm and dedication to his new “client”, the Knicks organization. Whether he’s actually gonna be good at this specific job is another discussion but you’d have to believe that he’s only in this job as some master vendetta to use his actions against the Knicks as a knock on what he’d try to do for them now.
That would be ridiculous to get the job to sabotage the Knicks :mjlol: hopefully he brings the same acumen to this new job however like you said he may try his best and be terrible :francis::francis::francis:

The Knicks desperately want to improve their perimeter shooting, and a scoring point guard and a deft-shooting 2 guard are draft priorities.

The fact that 2 guard is at the top of their priorities doesn't bode well for Trier or Dot or Ellington imo.
Scoring PG makes sense, I just hope they don't reach if there's a BPA that's clearly graded out higher. Hard to predict with Rose being new and no official gm yet.

That’s what the Knicks brought him in to do: Land a star. Mills couldn’t, only trading one away in Kristaps Porzingis.

The star mandate is still the scariest thing to me that we do to every damned gm. Hard to focus on building properly if you're expected to get a star in the building ASAP.

It’s noticeable that the mandate isn’t become playoffs ready or championship it’s just a star so Dolan can sell tickets.....

i guess this means the FO views RJ as a 3 and not a 2. That’s a good sign at least.
Let’s say Phoenix gets a high lotto pick and takes LaMelo, would y’all be open to a Randle for Rubio swap? Makes about the same as Randle but has that guaranteed 3rd year that Randle doesn’t. Not really the scoring pg we wanted but he is the perfect place holder for whoever we draft this year or next.

:gucci: That fakkit said with a straight face that the Knicks would’ve had a three peat in the early 2000s, had we had Shaq’s doofy ass and him alone.
Shaq/H2O/Spree running through the East in that trash ass era. Then we’d have to beat teams like the Spurs, Blazers, Kings in the Finals.

Shaq wasn’t coming here though he was gonna go to LA for his brand and to follow that big man tradition they have. Riley wasn’t gonna win shyt here. :shaq2:
