1. If they have to choose between franchise player on rookie deal vs. expiring big man, it becomes a very easy decision.
2. If the Jazz are a treadmill team, may they be something the Knicks should aim for. Y'all can't look down on them right now.
3. Mitchell is on a cheap rookie deal with a 5 year max earmarked for him. Even if he were to opt to play out his RFA year, how many unprotected firsts are you offering them before that? And if it's just waiting til he's a UFA, how many years do y'all think the Knicks can go without spending any money?
