Oh I’m not. I’m just saying if there’s some young player you get attached to (like Iggy), know he’ll never see the floor.
:patrice:
he's defensively biased. kenny wooten might get burn next year...hopefully.

Atkinson would have been the perfect choice for a rebuilding team.

Thibs was a good coach 5-10 years ago but his offense in today’s game is archaic

also the bigger picture of hiring him is well probably overpay veterans in the offseason to make a run at the 8th seed

Thibs doesn’t strike me as a guy who wants to coach a rebuilding team full of mostly young players
no one wants da nets leftovers

I wouldn't have mind if they kept Miller for a full season. Right now coaching is not the issue. You have a bunch of forwards and role players just doing a bid until free agency. Only so much you could do with them

:yeshrug:
He's a good coach but doesn't have the authority to coach the Knicks. Not just with the players but bytch ass Steve Stoute was in the media talking about how he was gonna get fired (Knicks were on a decent run at that point too).

I was going to say this is business as usual, but Idk this feels to me a bit worst. They let the Fox in the hen house and we might be in line to witness a slaughter. Ok so the rumor that they were waiting for Woj to not be suspended to announce this was true.

Honestly we can take a lot from this. 1. CAA runs MSG fully, 2. the rumors we hear from guys like Berman and Bagley are backed by a legit source. The fans laughed at them I want to say since Phil came in and swept house, because they had no good sources but that is over.

Also the way they moved Trier for a nobody CAA jobber is another really bad red flag I don’t think the fans made a big deal of that move then, but it says a lot of Rose’s plan is to basically convert the team to mostly CAA clients.

The upcoming draft will seal my opinion for me on what is going to happen. Three players at the top of the draft are represented by CAA, it’s Ball, Haliburton, and Toppin. I want to see who we draft with our pick before I make a decision if I am going to keep paying attention to the knicks.
You think we won't get fukked over in the lottery again

Thibs defense in Minnesota ranked 27th every year he was there. His defense became outdated as soon as the pace and space era started in 2016.

The same thing happened to Kidd.

Minnesota also struggled to get three pointers with Thibs. Ryan Saunders instantly changed that. Thibs has always struggled to prioritize spacing.

Raleigh by way of Crooklyn
I can only hope that Thibs took the time away from the game to study and see where things are now... I have hopes of maybe Atkinson coming on as a type of offensive coordinator assistant, but he may have his eyes on a HC job himself after the season.

Let’s see what happens. We acting like their was a obvious no doubt about it coach for This current Team but Thibs has the most proven success of all the choices .
