Then gets a new job with a long contract because he knows the new president. Everyone is like “his style is outdated and his technique hurts players over the long term”.... So basically a white guy failing upward. He’s basically annoyed Thibs who is a wipe out got another HC job, when black coaches who had comparable records and were wiped out can’t get a interview. I don’t give a fukk, enough is enough. I’m almost fully done with these a$$holes. If all of you are ok with corrupt hiring practices that’s on you. I am pretty involved in politics and I don’t need that in my sports. It literally goes against the competitive nature of sports to take a lesser talent because you are friends.

Also Atkinson is who they should have hired. The race aspect is you only ever see white men fail upwards like Thibs.

Man, you're all over the place. We had black coaches, gm's execs etc several times. They all sucked.....lol. The Knicks suck primarily because they are in NY and have zero incentive to be good on the court because while they are in NY they'll always be a cash cow.

Move the Knicks to Idaho and they'd have to run a better product.

In this case though; it's a guy who also had connections in the building because he was part of the JVG Knicks coaching staffs. Thibs is home grown and if he's willing to take on Woodson and Miller as assistants; I actually like the meeting of the defensive minds we have brewing.

Nah, it’s a offensive league, and all this defense means nothing if they aren’t going to shoot a 3pt shot.

Also him being an assistant here in the 90’s is a stretch to being relevant. Kenny was both a assistant here, an assistant under the best coach in the league in Bud, and did exactly what we needed from a coach.

Thibs favoritism hire is BS. Him getting 5 years..... after the fiasco he orchestrated in Minnesota is a joke. I been a fan for almost 30 years, and like I said before I got a foot out the door.
