And OG is gonna get paid, plus Terrance Davis is a starter and RFA next season, IIRC. TOR's books could get filled up pretty quickly.

Toronto with FVV and NO with Ingram are the two spots where I know they have money to keep those guys but I still want to be in the conversation. This FA class is pretty light and those two guys are worth keeping up with...they probably won't be available but if you can peel them off then it's an instant upgrade.

I want him, I just don’t know if he is a max player because for him to come to NY from the Raptors I am pretty sure he is asking for the Max.

Anyhow even at the Max isn’t the worst issue. The worst issue is they draft someone like Obi expecting FVV in free agency.

If we don’t get FVV we’re going to be bad anyway. Again, not saying these point guards are bad per se, but drafting the bpa now If that’s not a pg and getting a pg next season where we could pick between better prospects at a better draft position is more ideal to me.

Hypothetically:

Cade, Vassell and RJ>>>> Cade, Cole Anthony and RJ.

He’s better than Knox.

He could be a Klay Thompson lite for us...
He’s a player i think would have made himself a lot of money in March Madness... Florida State was prime for a deep run.

why would you draft a PG in the top 10 with Thibs here? Doesn't make sense to me.

Make this comment make sense to me. What Thibs can't coach PG's? Since when? Also I've never been a fan of gimmick coaches if that's the case. Coach your personnel. If the personnel doesn't match "your style"and you can really coach, you'll adjust til you have players that do match w/ what you want.

Frank literally helped us win two of our biggest wins this season with his defense down the stretch... :mjlol:

This season had big wins? Against who? Don't lose the part where I said "...games we had no business winning...".

If we came from down 20 and beat Orlando cuz Frank D'd up Markelle Fultz....:francis:

It's not that thibs can't coach PGs, it's asset allocation. Its tougher to get good wings in the league over a good PG. I would much rather have the best or second-best wing in the draft, then the the 4th or 5th best PG. Thibs has shown throughout his coaching career that he doesn't need an elite PG to have a solid offensive set up You can sign a veteran PG and them hold over in Thibs offense. If we're fully investing in Thibs-ball, getting two-way players on the roster is key. The Knicks have a chance to get one (Vassell, Deni) and that's who I would go after.

Dude is ass they won’t stop caping for him.

His defense is overrated he somehow managed to foul at a career high rate last season. Nearly 4.5 fouls per 36 minutes.

Donovan Mitchell and Bam Adebayo are arguably the best players on their teams heading into the second round of the playoffs.

Frank is 22 and going into year 4 yet they still gonna treat him with kiddie gloves with every excuse in the book.

We wasted our 8th pick on a defensive player when those could literally be had later in the draft, plucked from overseas, or in the undrafted pool.

OKC has a guy named Luguentz Dort. He was undrafted, Canadian prospect from Arizona State. It was his rookie year he’s a year younger than Frank. Also a combo guard raw offensively and gifted defensively.

6’4 in shoes with 6’9 wingspan, chiseled 220 lb. not a frail boy like Frank. He actually has a first step and a 38.5 inch vert.

Dort and Frank numbers are similar even with Frank having the experience edge and he out here defending James Harden in the playoffs and has been un-screenable for OKC.

OKC paid this man $155,000 this year. They resigned him to a 4 year, $5.5M deal. We’re paying the p*ssy boy Ntilikina $6M next season and have paid him $11M to date while he’s been here he’s been one of the worst offensive guards in basketball.

We LOST for as much as those nerds on Knicks Twitter, Knicks Film School cacs, and Knicks Coli brehs want to hype him and salvage the pick he is a bust. Him and Knox have been two of the worst selections in Knicks history they have set this franchise back. I can only imagine where we'd be had we went with the hometown kid Donovan Mitchell and took Mikal Bridges.

:what: We beat Dallas twice because of frank . Frank literally locked luka up. Stop acting like shyt ain’t happen. He’s the best perimeter defender we have on our team. Why don’t you address DSJ and elfrid? They shouldn’t be on this team at all

I'm hoping the French boy can watch some Pablo Prigioni, Marcus Smart, or Garrett Temple and turn out something like them :shaq2:

When we drafted him we were enamored by his length and thought he could have a Giannis-like trajectory/rise

He's a BUST stop :cape:

Frank stans love to deflect :russ:

He fouls 5 times per 36 minutes I don't give a damn about him being our best perimeter defender

If the crepe differentiated himself from the pack DSJ and Elfrid wouldn't be on this team

Here we are once again another NBA draft looking for another POINT GUARD :mjlol:

I find the discussion of drafting positions other than PG....disturbing.

I agree with @Wargames and I'm damn near 50! In this draft especially, with the draft position they have, PG is THE position to address.

Drafting wings that compliment RJ ain't it fam. RJ still has to compliment RJ. He's not a strong enough playmaker to pair with another wing if we still have the same trio of derelicts tryna get them the ball.

***I still see Frank included in some of your future lineups and rotations :scust:
When the fukk are yall gonna move on?? This kid aint shyt!!! If his defense was what yall think it is, it would have stolen us at least ONE ballgame we had no business winning in 3 years. It has NEVER!
Yes Frank is versatile enough on D to be fried in crunch time by the likes of Kyrie up to Paul George. Yay mufukkas. So what, he can match up with them. He still gets cooked. You can acquire a Frank from the G League. Fight me :yeshrug:

:skip:

You sound like his mom.

See the bolded in my original post above. That addresses the other 2 humps the Knicks have playing point.
Does it really need to be said they are trash? If they were worth shyt, why would I be trying to draft a PG?

Also my post says I can't believe ppl still add him to their potential future lineups if we get certain players.

That is a fact.

You never see ppl including Payton or DSJ in any lineup present or future. No need to speak of them in the same manner as Frank.

Only this french scrub has a loyal cult of coli posters willing to wait for year 11 for him to average 9.6 ppg. If you diss him they run in here talkn bout "WELL WHAT ABOUT SO and SO? HE AINT GOOD EITHER!!" with 1 hand all on their hips.

Oh wait....
