Wow.

That sucks. So talented but fragile.

Word. He's not the typical low block 7-3 player. He likes to go outside and take people off the dribble, all that places extra stress on his knees. I remember when he tore the ACL, it didn't even look like anything major happened.

I disagree. A player like Tatum was poised for stardom he has it. The physical measurements, the work ethic, the skillset, the athleticism, the pedigree (Duke, Kobe disciple, Larry Hughes god son, Ty Lue nephew, Chaminade and Bradley Beal connection, toughness being from St. Louis). R.J. would not be in the conversation for RoY on the Jazz because he has significant flaws as a basketball player, it's obviously a better team so he would look and play better but Ja Morant would still be running away with the award. It's good young players that turn franchises around. After Gordon Hayward left the Jazz were expected to sink. They drafted Donovan Mitchell and he ended up having a lot more of an offensive bag than draft pundits anticipated. Donovan Mitchell himself with his game exceeded expectations and has been carrying the Jazz offense ever since as their sole shot creator. If we landed a Tatum or Mitchell our team would be in a much different state today.
Donovan Mitchell surprised even himself to become the Jazz's unlikely rookie savior

Timmy wasn't trash as a Knick. Timmy simply had too big of a role on the Knicks and continued having injuries. The best basketball Timmy ever played were stretches in the '18 and '19 seasons where he was playing as a first and second option and having big games and leading us to wins he just didn't sustain these flashes due to injuries and he had too large of a role. Timmy's rookie year was also pretty promising and he wasn't that fukking good in Atlanta in fact his first year there was trash.

Timmy is the same chuck he's always been. The difference? He plays on a high octane Mavs offense with a guy named Luka Doncic. The Knicks are at a talent deficit and the guys on the team look worse because of that. It's an ill-fitting roster.

But Ntilikina and Knox are huge parts of that talent deficit. They should be much better than what they are.

Timmy was trash on the Knicks, Trey Burke was under utilized on the Knicks and even when he showcased his talent was relegated to the bench behind some other bum that didn't deserve those minutes, Knox had 1 bad season playing back up to Morris and Randle losing confidence in his sophomore year. Yes, KP was the only gem in the draft over the last decade and you're definitely talking out ya ass. Whether we picked up the Bridges, Rui Hachimura or Porter those guys would be in the same predicament. Frank was a project at best so it's blah whatever Phil thought would work with the Triangle.

The torn ACL was a freak landing because Giannis ass was in the way :hubie:

Timmy wasn't trash on the Knicks. Timmy had too large of an offensive role and had injuries. Timmy had some of the best months and monster games of his career on the Knicks during the '18 and '19 season. Hardaway has not changed much as a player on Dallas, he is simply playing with a lot more talent and in a more natural role. He is playing next to a superstar who is getting him the best looks of his career and he is now a 3rd to 4th option on any given night.

Trey Burke balled his ass off on the Knicks. He literally rejuvenated his career with us. He was actually underutilized in Philly then waived and picked up by Dallas where he has been killing it.

Frank was one of the bum nikkas that didn't deserve those minutes he was horrific that season and should have been in the G-League. :umad:

Knox didn't have one bad season. Knox has been among the worst players in the NBA through his two full seasons.

Rui, MPJ, and Mikal would be fine here those players are much more polished and hungry than the crepe.

MPJ's back is fukked and he struggles on defense but he literally scores in his sleep just by cutting, cleaning up the glass, and catching and shooting, simple things that Bambi can't do.

@S0ur² with the jinx, not even 12 hours later and this happens:mjlol:

It was a good call for the Knicks. Dallas can still build around Luka but NY def was aet for failure if they built around Porz. Hes a number 2 option at best, too injury prone.

For the love of God, Rui or Mikal Bridges would not be that good if Randles is chucking and throwing terrible passes and there isn't a decent enough point guard to cut and get them open nor create plays for them.

Rui and Mikal play on teams with decent point guards and plays designed for them.

They would not look good playing with Peyton and Randle nor having a play designed for them. Even RJ had to chuck his way to 27 pt games playing with those guys. If Peyton and Randle were not playing with him, he'd have a better rookie season than Zion.

Knox cannot C&S like Porter. Knox cannot rebound and clean up the glass like Porter. Knox cannot cut and finish like Porter.

Watch Porter play and watch Knox play. They aren't even on the same level as prospects.

It's not about decent PG's and plays and shyt it's more than that smfh it's about on court activity and instinctual basketball shyt and motor which Knox does not have. :snoop:

Rui has a big body and a midrange game :heh:

Poor coaching staff all the way in fukking Tarry town. Why is his parents telling him to move without the ball and not the coaches for him to have a good game.
:patrice:
Coaching is criminally underrated.
