Only multiple unprotected first round picks would make that work. He looked like he was ready to retire in the bubble and to think he’s on contract for another 3 years is insane.

I would hide Randle in the g league before I fukk with the our cap like that. He’s not worth 20% of the cap, and it’s projected to go down. Teams will be desperate to cut fat, but hopefully not at our expense.

Lonzo is worth a pick and Frank, that's essentially buying low for someone who had the season he did (I'd offer DSjr or Knox instead though). Get Lonzo, throw a bag at Malik Beasley, move Barrett to SF, and draft Toppin. Walk into next season with a line-up of:
PG- Lonzo
SG- Beasley
SF- Barrett
PF- Toppin
C- Mitch

That's a young and exciting squad to watch with some room to grow. The Knicks can use the rest of the cap space to absorb some bad contracts or throw it at Bertans or something.


I don't mind, he's gonna contribute a lot sooner than most of the other rookies, dude is nice.

that would have to be your minimum number to offer in a 4 year deal.

Your best case is gonna have to be a sign & trade where y'all come up off future picks. Anything below 15 is likely gonna be an automatic match.

I'd do 18 mil a year, anything over is a drastic overpay. As for the Cavs I have the 5th pick and Garland in mind( since I figure he's the odd man out between Porter and Sexton).
