Those Jazz connections already paying off.

At #23 we can likely grab Tyrell Terry - if he take Okoro or Williams at 8, I can get behind it if we grab a shooter lik Terry - could still buy into the 2nd round, use our trade exception, or just sell low on DSJ for additional assets if needed.

Or if it's the first step in multiple steps to move up for Melo :noah:

That’s Cole Anthony or Malachi Flynn range i hope.

My first thought was that they're going wing at 8 (or they really expect Toppin to fall to 8 but I still have doubts). 23 is just high enough not to whiff on one of the second tier PG's. Flynn or Anthony could be there, Maxey and Terry could slip that far too.

CP3 visited Barnes’ home last Saturday for his twins’ birthday party. (Barnes’ adversary Derek Fisher was not invited). The Post previously reported Paul was mixed about the Knicks. On Monday, Phoenix executed a trade for Paul to bring him to the Valley of the Sun.

“We were discussing like, hey, where are you going to go?,” Barnes said on Sirius XM NBA radio Tuesday. “And he was saying the Knicks were an option but, you know, if he was going to New York he wanted the full Knick experience, meaning he wanted the fans, he wanted the essence, he wanted the ambiance of that Madison Square Garden crowd. And going there now, we don’t know if that crowd will ever be back.”

Knicks trying to move up to five according to some Cleveland beat reporter

Was just saying that to my boy. Wouldn't be shocked with all that Toppin talk.

I'd be pretty pissed if we went into this draft with 3 picks and only walk away with Toppin. We can't possibly go into the season with Frank/DSJ at point and putting all our eggs in the limited PG FA market seems like a bad idea.

They must be positive they can land VanVleet then. I'm sure most marquee free agents knew where they were going already for the longest and they have some verbal agreements already set up.
