Maybe the hope is that Frank and DSJ can become solid back up point guards and eventually take the starting spot?
No because Payton ain’t trash like that

I don’t think Thibs is sitting around hoping for shyt like that.

Frank has no point guard skills after 3 years in the league, Nerlins Noel has a better chance of being the next pg.

DSJ is a Thibodeau type player, maybe he can rehabilitate him somehow. These guys are in their last year, I'd rather see Quickley get a chance.

Is he good?
He can shoot and has a nice wingspan, solid athlete, still thin physically developing, good defender, more of a combo guard a lot of off ball play in Kentucky’s offense next to Ashton Hagans and Tyrese Maxey, PG and shot creation skills developing, can’t finish relies on floater.

He doesn’t miss FT’s, a 90%er at the collegiate level which addressed one of our biggest weaknesses. He’s also hardworking and clutch. Also, over the years we’ve seen some Kentucky guys held back he may have more of a bag than we think.

If we go with R.J. as point forward, a shooting off-ball PG like him is nice.

I agree. That's why I wasn't too concerned about the PG position. Ben Simmons is 6'9 PG. Worse case scenario is to play RJ with Quickley and that should be a temporary fix.

I already see during the season R.J. and Quickley line ups being fan favorites with posters in here complaining about Burks shot jacking and Payton coming in :russ:

Im not sure why Quickley is disrespected like we didn’t draft a whole PG :skip:

We also scooped up Myles Powell on an Exhibit-10 and have Lamar Peters and Jared Harper. I want to see at least one of those guys get a shot.
