Seems like Quickley is that Ntilikina replacement

3&D off guard except Quickley actually has motor and a first step and is a much better shooter

Seriously why start the season with Ntilikina maybe we can get a second round pick or low end shooter or something :ld:

Good kid, honestly we should ship Ntilikina out now :ld: I don’t see the point in starting the season with him

Play Ntilikina at back up SG in that case for this season. He could give lobs to Mitch and Toppin. Let him play the remainder of his contract out. Teams will take him over DSJ or Peyton tbh.

Kira nor Winston will be starting games we would still need to sign a veteran PG.

Also brehs we drafted Immanuel Quickley :mjlol:

Yeah, the plot was always Kira and a vet in my book. That doesn't change the fact that either Kira or Winston would be the best PG on this roster and an actual potential long term answer.

Quickley's a combo guard. When he actually shows PG skills, we can project him as a playmaker. But the point of discussing names like Kira, Winston and Payton is to involve a skill that he didn't show a lick of in his college campaign.

Keeping my fingers crossed that maybe it’s the Kentucky effect. Didn’t show his while bag for the sake of the team...

Kira isn’t better than Payton right now relax he’s got a lot to learn.

He wouldn’t start here and he’s not starting in New Orleans. He’s only 19 and weighs a buck 65. I think obviously we would have liked to have him but he was selected before our second pick and I’m very happy with the Toppin selection.

If the future is point forward/main ball handler R.J. then Quickley is a good fit.

Kids gonna be a sleeper. I keep telling yall. Even if it was a late pick, there's guys out there like Donovan Mitchell and Steph Curry who people overlooked when they were drafted. The key is hard work. I like RJ, Kev and Mitch because you can tell that those guys want to be great. Quickley and Toppin were great picks from a chemistry and striving for greatness perspective.

Quickley can be a point guard. I watched him play for 2 years, saw about 95% of our games. We ran alot of dribble drive, like always, and he started with 2 other guards (Maxey and Hagans). He's a hell of a shooter but he can also initiate a little offense. Definitely a team player. I cant lie, I kinda had him projected around 35-40 but oh well. He's faith driven. Should be a good fit next to RJ. Hope yall have a productive tank year.

Oh yeah.. what's the beef with Knox? :mjcry::unimpressed:

Yeah, I'm cool with the idea that Quickley has more than we've seen. But it's a crazy thing to just assume, I think the last quotes I saw from him were saying he wants to be the Kentucky version 2.0 which would make him an off-ball player. I'm down for him to be a ball handler and playmaker we're surprised by, but I'm not holding my breath.

Powell's intriguing too. His Senior year numbers might throw heads off but the kid can legitimately score from anywhere.
