Seems like Quickley is that Ntilikina replacement

3&D off guard except Quickley actually has motor and a first step and is a much better shooter

Seriously why start the season with Ntilikina maybe we can get a second round pick or low end shooter or something :ld:
Idk what immanuel you been watching...but his handle and first step is not like that :mjlol:
he very seldom beats his man off the dribble outright which is why he takes tons of contested floaters cause he cant get to the rim or finish over defenders.
he attacks closeouts well tho :ehh:
he's really not that explosive. being more than frank isnt saying much
at this level we can hope he tops out like a slightly taller devonte graham but ehh

From what I saw he has a good first step and his shyt is better than Frank’s. His handle is not like that and he’s physically frail to finish at the rim and doesn’t have great touch or vertical explosion in traffic.

He definitely has good speed and quickness though. :umad:

Devonte Graham is not a good comparison for him.

Again if R.J. is going to be this teams point forward and main ball handler Quickley is the best fit.

He’s a knock down shooter and is great when it comes to offensive awareness/I.Q., relocation and play reading, and footwork off the ball. If he develops his physique and PG skills a bit we’ve got one forreal. This is a great kid hardworking and team oriented and had to share the ball at Kentucky with the likes of Herro, Johnson, Hagans, Maxey. He never complained and never transferred like blue chippers do. I’m looking forward to watching this kid shoot off Iverson cuts and stopping and popping in transition.

He has a lot of potential on defense shows quick feet, well above average wingspan, knows how to get skinny on the P&R, good motor/endurance on both ends.

Y’all should like this pick a lot more than y’all do.

lmao frail doesnt mean shyt when ja morant 20 pounds lighter him and challenging at the rim. he doesnt cause he doesnt have the first step you think he does....or the bounce at the rim.
defenders are even faster at this level....so if he just wants to be a specialist thats fine.
re:devante comparison- I'm speaking about his future progression....being able to use pick and rolls to free himself for his shot. not necessarily what he is now...but for his ceiling to go higher he needs to be able to manipulate pick and rolls cause he isnt the most physically gifted to beat his man without screens. And work on his handle.
we wont know about any of that yet....thibs will have his ass sitting on the bench if he fukks up once :mjlol:
again....being faster or more explosive than frank doesnt mean much at all :mjlol:

I had no problems with Quickley I just didn't know much about him besides him lighting it up from 3. The goal should be for Rj, Quickley, and Toppin to mesh and grow together. Hopefully Mitch can improve and help out as well. I'm very curious about the brotha Powell from Seton we picked up:ohhh:

I don’t get ever people wanted . They didn’t sign any crazy deals got more assets and seem to be building around rj and youth . We can’t just tank like the sizers We need to see what pieces we have for the future

His first step is fine dude :comeon:

Speed and quickness is not a weakness for him he doesn’t have a great handle or vertical pop and he’s weak which is why he’s not a great finisher, it’s also a matter of touch too.

Nikka came in here :cape: because I want the p*ssy crepe off the team :mjlol:

If no more moves are made with the roster whats the starting lineup looking like?

PG- Frank or Peyton? Or they throwing Quickley in?
SG- RJ
SF- Knox?
PF- Randle or Toppin
C- Mitch

Edit- forgot about randle

I’m assuming Payton and Randle will start:yeshrug:

gotta hope Randle has improved or some team decides to bite on a trade for him
