The top half teams didn't necessarily get over powering besides select few but the bottom half have improved. Mavs may not be as dominant especially with Kp being out from jump:yeshrug:
Ur only hope is Luka missing a lot of games

West is top heavy with a bunch of treadmill teams

Mavs can flat out score the rock even without KP they have depth

Luka hasn't proved to be durable either and with a more condensed season more games will come faster. He seems to have ankle issues he'll be in and out the line up:ufdup:

It’s the right direction tho... wish they woulda used their space to acquire some picks but at least they are playing it patient and thinking long term

knicks team in the past woulda splurged on van fleet or Hayward
Idk part of me wishes they splurged.

Our young guys need to play with talent it helps their development these veteran reclamation projects aren’t it for the youth

Saw it all of last year with Randle-Payton two man game :mjcry:

The lack of spacing and touches made R.J. look worse than he really is

Why? He’s the only one who can actually run a team.
He runs well with Randle but creates poor spacing with RJ. I would put another shooter in that spot who isn’t a facilitator like Payton and have the offense run through RJ. I also think he was one of the reasons RJ did poorly his rookie season and didn’t get the touches he needed to succeed.

Both of them froze Rj and the young guys out a lot. Rj showed visible frustration because of it happening constantly these mf have to go:hhh:Randle more so cause he's a bumbling turnover machine. At least with Payton he can just be in lineups away from RJ:snoop:

On paper, they have arguably the worst roster, but I'm pretty confident that this team would exceed 22.5 wins, simply because of Thibs.

His teams always overachieve during the regular season with the tight ship he runs; demanding maximum effort every single game. Especially with the condensed schedule, I can see the Knicks getting wins against teams they typically wouldn't beat (when players are getting rested or teams are looking ahead). Load management is going to a real thing across the league this season.
That’s a point i never thought of. I wonder if that’s why they got so many redundancies at each position. Plan might be to go 10-12 deep every night.
