I still quad skate almost every weekend, yes, females do notice when you can dance on skates, and it makes it hella easy to strike up convo. We have our 18 and over hip hop and r&b nights, if cats saw some of the females that come out for it, they would grab some rentals and hit the floor with the quickness. Now the blades I can't do, only quads.

It use to be so dope, Especially when you had a fire DJ.


The rink we had had both a fire arcade, food stand, sound system and light setup.


Then it got super popular and got shot up


But it was a such a dope spot for like 3 or 4 years. The chicks, and grown women that use to come out.

Man hell yea, a good DJ and crowd is all you need for the evening. I got back into it 3 yrs ago, was looking for something fun to do and meet new people that didn't include bar hopping. I love skating as a kid, but when I walked in the rink and seen all the grown and sexy women, I was hooked. All the latest music plus they still throw a few slow jams on so you caneed grab a female and skate with (easy to do if they new to the rink). I hadn't realized how big indoor skating was, we got groups traveling to other states for skate jams.

Yup, its real low key unless you in it. I used to do the road trips to the different skate parties. I need new bearings.

I might get back into it and skate in Richmond.
