Nah man...check out what ppl have said.

"Walking With a Panther does end up slightly less than the sum of its parts. For one thing, it's simply too long; moreover, the force of his early recordings is missing, and there's occasionally a sense that his once-peerless technique on the mic is falling behind the times."

and another critic said.

"For most of this album, L.L. leaves his voice hanging lonely, like a balloon in the wind."

Keep in mind...he said "don't call it a comeback" for a reason.

the mags were yapping that bullshyt meanwhile "nitro" and "it gets no rougher" were everywhere. they said he was selling out for mtv because of "im the type of guy", ignoring aaaaalll the pop shyt he had been doing since day 1. "thats a lie", "going back to cali", "i need love"...bubble gum ass records. it was working for him and nobody said shyt until he was all over mtv. then back on his nuts when "boomin system" dropped, thats why he said that. walking with a panther sold like 1.5 mill so that right there should tell you how it was received.

You think this album is better than GOAT? That album is just :wow:

Its shocking that most of the Hip Hop community doesn't regard GOAT as a classic.

MSKYO is better and is a classic. It felt like a year passed by before headz stopped blasting that shiit out their car. There's like at least 3 classic songs on the album. Look at the effect that album had on his career. I barely remember GOAT, and if anything I have MR. SMITH ranked better than that.

I can't even name all the songs on GOAT.

LL's best album, easily.

I got this album for Christmas when I was a kid. This was one of the very first album that I ever owned. I remember askin' for a bunch of CD's for Christmas. LOL!! This was one of them. I played this album daily back then! Still one of my favorite albums of all-time. Marley Marl in his prime.
