All-time, objectively (i'm kinda looking at it from outside just my personal opinion)...it's prolly Jay-Z...either him or 2pac...and i say Hov over Pac, because with pac it's moreso a cult of personality type thing after his death where people are more or less in love with the idea or "legend" of Pac more than the actual person...with Jay-Z, it's an entire generation of dudes that look up and admire him like he's their "cool" big brother...outside of the just the typical fan, just look at how other entertainers...rappers and athletes look up to him...Lebron is on top of the world right now, and Jigga is basically that n!gga's daddy by proxy :heh: ...or Obama kinda pals around with him...hate it or love it, he's basically a contemporary hip hop generation Sinatra

Eazy E too..he had charisma and personality like no other rapper before him..ruthless and a comedian at the same time..when he dropped boyz in the hood, no fukks were given..:mjpls:..had every lil nikka on some gangsta shyt..and what's crazy is that girls loved him to death..that's when you realized that misogyny in music works..lol

And just when everyone was on snoops dikk and forgot about Eazy..Eazy E came thru and dropped the hardest diss song "real mafukking g's" and we all like "the realest gangsta rapper is back"..I bet that fukked snoop and dres head up for a minute..they thought they were running shyt..but Eazy runs gangsta rap and always will..

Can't really say, "alltime" cuz popularity goes in phases. I remember back in the day wearing stopwatches because mom wouldn't let me hang a clock around my neck trying to imitate Chuck and Flav. Everybody wanted to be like them back then.

LL used to rock those Kangols, and everyone wanted to be like him back then.

When NWA dropped, everyone was wearing Raiders clothing and had hats with their name on the side like they were on the team or something.

When DOC dropped, everyone started wearing Kings clothing.

Snoop had us wearing hockey jerseys, and braided hair.

50's lowkey might be the biggest impact though. I mean people were wearing doo-rags and fitteds, but that look exploded after 50 blew. New Era oughta give 50 a check considering how their sales exploded right after In Da Club and Wanksta dropped.

Wu had me wearing Wallys. I used to wear sweatpants with Wallys like an idiot. Those shoes made walking kinda funny too like girls learning how to walk in heels for the first time.

not an old head but easy e and snoop seem to have had a lot of influence outside of the music. Their image is almost like a brand.
