Help brehs :sadcam:

shyts way too dark for me. I turned my black levels to high for gaming on my 1X, but I don't want to ruin the picture quality. What are the OLED brehs doing for their settings?

"I turned my black levels on high for gaming"

"Help brehs my screen way too dark"

:jbhmm:

Lol ironically a high black level is actually brighter than a low one. Not sure why but there is a clear visible difference between the two. On low everything is stupid dark

I bit the bullet and turned HDR off for gaming, i know it sucks but they put out an update that made everything too damn dark

Unless your playing in a pitch black room, your going to struggle

:hhh: I ain't drop over 2 racks for the OLED/1X combo to play in poverty, fukk that
Ok breh

You go right ahead And game in the dark
It’s a legit problem ...

There’s complaints about this shyt , it was fine before the update, now way too dark

And trust me ... despite a few games you aren’t missing much , where hdr really shines is Dolby vision on movies and shows ..

Breh, just compromise.

I was worried when people were complaining about the TCL P607's dark screen but it's really amazing how well the optimal calibrations for gaming/hdr movies look when you're watching at night in a dark room.

Day time, I just increase the ilghting to "brighter" and accept that I'm going to get great quality but amazing quality later when the lights are low.
