for someone to say that in the south is something else

Breh, seeing that used to always trip me out. I’m here in Atlanta. It always tripped me out when I’d see dudes on here and real life say they gotta go to places like Buckhead, North Atlanta, and other white places to get to some respectable living. I’ve driven through so many upscale black neighborhoods in this city and the surrounding cities. Hell, I live in a black neighborhood myself.

Every major city got a small percentage of black people, that moved away from buck wild nikkas in the city, to the burbs..

Ain't no reason a income making nikka should move around some CACs.. :manny:

Only been to Chicago once, but I do know they have one of the largest black middle-class communities in the nation. There's other places similar to Olympia Fields like South Holland, Richton Park, Flossmoor and Lynnwood based off the research I've done.

I didn’t know you was that way:ohhh:

But yeah like you said those areas got nice cribs but property tax high . It certain spots like Matteson /university park /Olympia fields the stores etc are very limited . Especially Matteson damn shame how they fell off. These spots should at least be on Crestwood level as far as businesses .

And being close to 57 is definitely a plus for those commuting to the city

The taxes are high on the business too. That is why many of them went out of business.

What the job prospects looking like and How far is it to commute to Chicago??
Olympia Fields is on a Metra train line, which in turn will take you to Chicago State, University of Chicago, and downtown chi. You about a 25 minute ride from the Loop.
I seen a picture on FB saying this is the biggest sent off in history :russ:
fam thats in CC Hills, my parents been out there since the early 90s. They full of shyt, they been saying a casino, water park, mall etc was gon come for decades now. They finally folded and put some logistics warehouses up over there.

South burbs can’t sustain no outlet mall or other large development no more. Look at Lincoln and river oaks

yeah, 20+ years ago :mjlol:

Section 8 and dusty city nikkas ruined the south burbs. Seen it with my own eyes growing up out there. Our block was half white/half black(middle class) when my fam came to CC Hills in the 90s.

Mid 2000s come around , they started handing section 8 vouchers out like candy and everyone from the city started moving out to the burbs
