KD won't be guarding him I don't think, I think it'll be Green on him and they'll have KD guard Love for the reasons you just mentioned. If they start KD on him then LeBron will find a way to put him in foul trouble, he did it in 2012 consistently.

I agree that Dray's best strength is help D, but two things make me think he'll guard LeBron. One, LeBron might get KD in foul trouble, and depending on which LeBron we're seeing this year he could eat in the post. Two, Love is gonna drag Green out of the paint and he won't be able to playing help D anyway and that forces McGee to hold down the fort and possibly give up lobs or offensive boards to TT. They'd rather have Green guard Bron for post situations and on the PnR they can switch a lot better if they need to with Green on Bron, plus you'd rather have LeBron take jumpers all day anyway so if he sags off he can help on everything.
Love is gonna stand in the corner all day, has a wack ass post game that he never goes to anymore and although a good rebounder he's not TT or anything. Rather have KD on him.
In small ball situations where McGee isn't out there then Dray will be guarding TT but majority of the series I think they'll have Dray guarding Bron with a little bit of KD and Iggy mixed in.
