On Code - The (series) of threads: Code 1 - Buy Black

We all talk about being on code. But what does that mean. Let’s try to start something right here on TheColi to define that. I’m going to do a series of threads to try to develop 10-15 “codes.” Something like a black folk 10 commandments. Open to ideas of a more efficient or even just different process. Put your votes in and propose edits. Don’t worry, the more controversial ones are coming.

Code 1: Buy Black

1.(a) - If you have a dollar to spend, spend it with a black owned business.
1(b) - If no black owned business, spend it with a documented ally.
1(c) - If the aforementioned is not possible, look to fill or encourage others to fill this gap.
