Sometimes having a big heart is a blessing and a curse :wow:

I’m in the military, and when people get jammed up behind some charges they gotta have people investigate. So I got tagged to investigate a cac who was fighting a deadly conduct gun charge, on some road rage shii. The report wasn’t clear and it was basically he said/she said.

Initially the big dawgs wanted to throw the book at him, they weren’t tryna cut him any slack. Add in that I was going out of town and wanted to get it off my desk, and he’s a cac so I was like:ld:fck him. They wanted to pin 6 charges on him initially:huhldup:

Then I had a change of heart, talked w/the lawyers and got the charges down to 3. Made a recommendation to give him a counseling statement as opposed to docking his pay or busting him down in rank.

The big dawgs bought off on it. Now he can promote later this year and won’t lose his job:skip:

Plot twist:I was in a similar situation earlier this year, got jammed up and they threw the book at me:unimpressed:i didn’t have the complexion for the protection:mjpls:

Petty Vandross.. fukk Yall
Serious question op..
Do you think this Caucasian male..
Would have given you the same luxury and benefit of the doubt..
Would he have looked at you with the same bleeding heart and forgiveness..
I know things are different when you are in the military..
And if you serve for this country(no matter the certain sector of service)..
Service men treat each other like brothers due to the understanding of lifestyle and circumstances..
Maybe I’m hateful..
Maybe I’m jaded..
Maybe I’m cynical as everybody calls me..
But when it comes to white people..
I just don’t care for their cause or want to help them..
You truly are a better man than me for this..
This is not a stray, sarcasm or diss..
Just been through way too much bullshyt with Caucasians:yeshrug:

What y’all gotta understand is, the answer to both of y’all is a loud hell no.

But I didn’t go in to the back story. It’s too long, but The command wanted to hem him up. Part of me went against the commands initial recommendation strictly out of spite, even if it meant getting a cac off charge. In my eyes, getting over on an O6 is better than fcking over an E5. Both things being equal in that they’re cacs.

However on the flip side I wanted that good karma out there, bc I got a lil situation going on where they haven’t given the final verdict yet...so make of that what you will.

Mostly my decision in the case was more so to piss of the command. Even if I had to sacrifice a lil player to go after the big dawgs

We on the same page. I don’t love no cac, service
Member or not. In this case I wanted to go after the big dawg and screw over a higher ranking guy, even if it meant saving a lower ranking guy who was accused.
