You had two industry lames going at it, but you had folks swearing one of them was "real hip hop" and it was a victory for real hip hop.

Their diss rollouts weren't even good. The views on the disses as they came out were pretty low until much later. The tracks were so many and coming out so fast that most fans never even caught all of them, just the few songs that really blew up after the fact.

Everyone became complete hypocrites. Just overall terrible battle. And fukk the Superbowl. None of my favorite diss records are tame enough to even be allowed to be performed at the Superbowl.
